Description
The lead character from the under-loved game Psychonauts. Idea taken from the game cover and converted into my own style.So in less than two weeks time I get to meet Richard Horvitz at the Auckland Armageddon convention, and wanted to draw something to give to him. I love this guy in virtually every role he plays (his voice is just so wonderfully bizzare). And since most people go 'Zim' when they hear about Richard, I wanted to do a character he plays but is very un-noticed alot of the time. D:
Poor Raz's skin colours got raped by the scanner. I spent ages blending in those yellows and the strange pinks that his game model has (does he suffer from a perma-cold or something? X3) but alas, my scanner hated it. His skin is alot lighter in the original.
I just hope Richard likes the original, at least.

honestly i thought that the hardest part EVER was the fight with the Lungfish.

the lungfish was ok, but i canot get past the milkman part. i beat the weird mental world, but the door wont open and the elvator wont go!

Even if the colors aren't what they were intended to be, the picture still looks awesome. I love the variation on the cover art; Raz looks a lot cuddlier...if that's even a word. His expression's nice, too.

Doesn't look bad at all, however he does seem a tad stiff so the action pose is a little iffy, another thing that would've helped this drawing is his right hand, it looks like he has a headache instead of concentrating. I do like the colors on this though, very vibrant :3

Idk why psychonauts and poor raz don't get enough attention, probably has to do with the fact it does have Gir or the piggy jokes. I loved the lungfish level almost more then the milkmen level cause of the neat squishing noise the fishies made when you stepped on them. Sigh...I wish i could meet him. Course, then I'd never be able to get 100 feet or closer, restrainnig ordern and all. (but he plays so many neat roles! Raz, Zim, Dagg,Billy!)
