Description
The lead character from the under-loved game Psychonauts. Idea taken from the game cover and converted into my own style.So in less than two weeks time I get to meet Richard Horvitz at the Auckland Armageddon convention, and wanted to draw something to give to him. I love this guy in virtually every role he plays (his voice is just so wonderfully bizzare). And since most people go 'Zim' when they hear about Richard, I wanted to do a character he plays but is very un-noticed alot of the time. D:
Poor Raz's skin colours got raped by the scanner. I spent ages blending in those yellows and the strange pinks that his game model has (does he suffer from a perma-cold or something? X3) but alas, my scanner hated it. His skin is alot lighter in the original.
I just hope Richard likes the original, at least.

i neeeed this gaaaame. if not only for the razputin-goodness (that transfers wonderfully, i might add, into your style!!!) but also for Richard Horvitz! i totally agree about his voice
And dude, I saw this with the base colors in your livejournal, and damn, the skin looks amazing! Even if it is yellowy in teh scan, its damn luscious lol XD the browns are so wonderfully blended, and i love the weird, swirly, Psychonaut-y background.
I just know he'll like it; who wouldnt?

Kudos for putting Psychonauts in the front light a bit ^_^. I never really cared for the game genre (platformers :/) but I definitely liked the premise.

It's very quirky. Have you ever played any of the Monkey Island games? Think of problem solving and the wit of those games (well, asides the 4th. X3) and combine that with platforming as well. It's funny and entertaining to play. :3

NEwho i think this picture is splendid. the rich warm hues in his skin (good job on that! :0 ) and his clothing really go well with that stark green and black bg. his scarf and goggles! those are my favorite parts. man you and those markers, you make MAGIC happen with them. D:

XD So many people think of either Dagget or Zim when it comes to Richard. Raz is kinda an interesting role because he doesn't use that HUGE voice he does alot in all his other roles....infact, Raz is a pretty calm in the way he talks. It's really adorable and great to hear him play another role.

Considering how under-loved it was, I don't know. Sometimes low-selling games get sequels anyways, but some don't.
It's honestly a more 'clamer' role that Richard has played, though. I bet he loved the fact that he didn't have to YELL all his lines. X3

While I haven't the foggiest about the game( ;_; sry) I can honestly say I like this character, he has an awesome look, and a very cool confidence portrayed about him. I'm sry that your scanner didn't like the colors, but the darker tone does bring his eyes out alot, so much that they look alive and ready for anything
