Please Full View.Considering this was a picture I wasn't too excited on working on, I rather like the results. Most of all on Midori. The in-production phase of this image can be found in my scraps section.
The four sisters from one of my Mangas. Zuri (the one on the far left) being the main character. Infact, the other three don't show up that much, but their sisters - so I figured there should be at least one pic of them all together. Each one with a power over one of the four elements that control their world.
Zuri - Fire (symbolic flower is the Rose)
Magji - Water (symbolic flower is the Lilly)
Midori - Earth (symbolic flower is the Tulip)
Kowahi - Wind (symbolic flower is the Daisy)
Meep. Hardly ever put up any of my orginal art, since people never show interest. So back to mah fanart now.

Indeed, this pic turned out much better than my other fanart in the way of attention it got...but I guess with more people watching over time, that can help.

Transparency - I usually just draw the figure, then draw the outlines for the clothes over the top. ^_^ S'actually really simple. :3

Kai, this is a beautiful piece. I'm so glad to see the four sisters again--I wondered if I was going to see Zuri again XD.
Really, I envy how you make symbols so easily like that. I envy. ENVY, I tell you. And the hair---Dear, Lord. Those curls on Midori just scream "I SPITE YOU LEAH BECAUSE YOU CANNOT DRAW ME!"

It's because you've submitted far too much Fan Art. After awhile, people can't stand it, and they tend to ignore some things, without a second thought. Why do you think people despise Inu Yasha fanart so?
Or, you could be right about that popularity theorum.

Yeah, know how you feel about the original art. XP I hardly do any posting these days, as most of the things I'm working on are either art for my own characters, or half-finished sketches. XD XD
I guess one thing that sort of annoys me about many fan-related things, is that, while you get TONS of attention, people don't seem to notice your own works.
*sigh* It always seems ironic how they will harp on about your artwork and skill, but pay little attention to anything outside fanart.
Still, at least here you have a few people wanting to see your manga, and I myself would be interested. I love writing and art (though I suck at the latter) so a good story with pretty art is always welcome! Maybe you could post a couple of pages, get a bit more interest maybe? *shrug* I think it might be worth a try, I'd look at it, even give you a shiny!in depth review too! *hug hug*
Randomly, what do you prefer to be called? You have several nicks, and I'm not sure which I should refer to you by. XD
Also rendomly, Do you mind terribly if I hijack your rose-style (From the Tess Ottsel image) for something? Not flat out copy, but they're a bit easier than most other styles I've seen...

But...for names...I like being called Kai or Kylie, really...Keysha's fine too. To be honest, I don't know where a good ton of these nick-names have come from (KK, Key-chan, Key-key, KC) and such were just what people randomly started calling me. 
And sure. You're free to use 'em. ^_^ Half the reason I'm using that style of roses is because they're slightly easier to use than other ways.

Yeah, I was looking at roses, and the best referances I have are from Yami No Matsuei manga, it looks awesome, but rather complex.. Then I saw you're and thought they were rather cute and much easier.

i envy anyone who can develop a nice set of original characters and draw them once in awhile. really nifty idea too, what with the symbols on their foreheads. i also think its cool how you went ahead and blacked out alot of the hair leaving room for the element color...gives it a real manga-ish feel.
the way the flower denotes the element is a nice touch too. :3 the roses in zuri's panel are absolutely gorgeous, and the lillies look soft n purty too.

Like these for example! <3 Zuri is so beautiful with all the reds and blacks! I love her hoop earrings, and the little charmy-thing off her belt :3 Magji is so pretty! I love her long hair, and all the little stars you've put on her! The greens on Midori are so lovely! Her curls are so beautiful and sexy <3 And her dress too!
Each of them having their own colour scheme is so neat :3 I reallyreally love this!
