Don't look at me. Strong World made me do it! That movie is full of so much adorable and/or hilarious moments with Usopp and Chopper, and their quick little 2-second reunion was so cute, I had to draw it out.
Okay, so technically the background is based off a different location in the film (I just thought this was prettier) and while I could have fixed the wonky border in photoshop, I decided to leave it that way since I was off a little on the original anyway. Also, Damnit Usopp I still draw your head too fat! XD And that helmet isn't helping!
Gee, Chopper leaps into Usopp's arms after being separated for a week here, I hope that means their reunion in the manga is gonna be all-the-more adorable.

I saw this from the sketch to the final outcome and it's all been beautiful! the negative space, (literally, I mean, that thing behind them looks like a nebula) the character placement and composition, bright colours and all!
the only thing I would say is that the placement of the tree behind them is a bit weird. I mean, we know that it's petals that are swirling around them, I think the composition would have worked alot better if that trunk wasn't there.
that's all though, other from that, another GORGEOUS traditional peice from Kai!
