Description
Originally used as landers, porting colonists and supplies between ships and Onderon’s surface, the Ruping type shuttles were some of the first vessels to have found a new use as armed attack craft. Their thick hulls and powerful engines provide a sturdy and fast if not maneuverable combat ship.

While they served well as a stop-gap measure to provide orbital security during the early stages of Onderon’s development, the aging Ruping shuttles have found themselves increasingly kept in reserve, their limited armament, large target profile and lack of maneuverability being greatly out striped by my modern gunships and fighters alike.
