Description Los segadores-

'the reapers' more in the harvesting context than a 'grim reaper' context, though one might argue the latter context fits just as well, seeing that most of the segadores dorns skeletons and bone based armors on them while also carrying hooks or sickle shaped weapons much like a grim reaper as well as the fact that their role is to 'harvest' the life of the prey and deliver the killing blow to it after already being weakened by the rest of the convoy.

They always work in conjunction with a ramp vehicle or something of the sort, using lightweight dirt bikes to jump off them and latch onto preys of significant height with their latching weapons, often shaped like hooks, pick-axes, or sickles. Once they reach a weakspot on the prey, often the throats, they'll use their killing weapons to slit and bleed them to death, often with simple hunting knifes and karambits tgat are strapped on longer hilts, or other claw-like weapons. The clothing they wear are also less armor heavy and more tight fitting to allow more flexible movements while latched onto the prey, and they often have spiked boots or hooks on their arm protections anything that can provide as much traction to stick on the prey's surface.

The segadores usually only work on hunts involving soft bodied preys like avians and mammals or some reptiles, especially ones with hairs or feathers that can be used to tangle on. And they're only needed on preys with throats that are out of reach from pikes and pole weapons, such as the giant gallus, often nicknamed by he nomads as 'chicken-rex'

Highly armored or segmented preys however, like many giant arthropods or those with hard shells and scales, require a different kind of tactic to take down.

not at all, but if that's so then that conveniently fits to the latin theme i have for the nomads. lol
my original inspiration for that knife was from a karambit and the claws of a raptor, since i needed a knife designed to slit or cut open preys.
