raptorifying birds seems to be a common reoccuring theme i end up doing when i don’t have anything to draw.. it’s inspired from simon stalenhag ‘s paleoart as always. i’m trying to imagine a scenario where modern birds either evolved to once again have their dinosaur traits or that they never lost them in the first place.a kasowari raptor is seen rearing its chicks which have yet to grow their mother’s beatiful black feathers and colorful head while at the back two smaller javan myna raptors are trying to drive away a monitor lizard from their favorite dumpster spot.

You know this reminds me of a 3d animated Tarzan movie where they literally had cassowary velociraptor hybrids it was shown for a short scene but I was so done with those designs.

Amazing job, really like the composition you got some real talent mate, and I got to say, Your paintings of these fantastic creatures and worlds feel almost real, like A place I'd like to see and visit (Or considering the post apocalyptic nature of some maybe not haha!).
