I'm having quite a bit of fun with the Rigel Class and after creating this background I'd thought I'd dump the Rigel into the scene after trying various other ships, stations, angles etc.What better place to drop metaphorical anchor at than a lovely Gas Giant?

Did you do those planets conner because i think the texturing is amazing on them both And did you try a new style on the model or rendering because somehow the whole image seems softer to me than some of your other works

That's definitely a beautiful ship. It combines all the graceful lines while retaining a form of agility. A bit like tuning up what is otherwise considered a luxury car (a big beamer or Mercedes for instance).

Aye, what drew me to the design was that it wasn't too curvy looking like the Galaxy. I love the Galaxy Class but there's something about TLE era designs that seem like the epitome of TMP design with the modern look that the Galaxy was aiming for.
