Description
A classic shot of the USS Enterprise in orbit of a planet on its profile. This angle always reminded me of the TOS one with the Original Enterprise and I think that's what ILM was thinking when they did the original FX shot.Though I updated the look and gave it a more modern look by making it look more artsy fartsy. I have also gone with Wiley's Galaxy as Prologics took over 5 hours when raytracing and the shadow map only looked good when from a distance.I'l also like to apologise for not messaging back as quick as I i'd like, things have been hectic to say the least.

Nice work. You certainly got that popular TNG angle right and the impression of size is very good! Of course the lighting is also at it's usual quality.

Thanks, though I think the planet could be better.

It works well and against the light you wouldn't necessarily see any more detail.

this is so beautiful it almost brings me tears to the eyes. the Enterprise-D is indeed a big, confortable ocean cruiser in space.

It is but it also has teeth, unless you know, you have the shield frequencies.
