I have had a few people ask me how I do the shading on my artwork. so I made a tutorial
I wish it could have been better but I didn't have a whole lot of time 
I hope this helps and its not to confusing.
Done in Photoshop Elements .5

I must say, you have a smooth, delicate voice. It is very calming to the ears. Also, the video did help a bit, but I still can't even get the coloring right. XP

well I have a bamboo tablet and I think mine was about 100$ [link] pretty cheap for a tablet haha ) but I love it! it works great 
there are two kinds of bamboo tablets,one works with all programs and comes with photoshop 5 (the one I have),corel painter and something els. the other one only works with sertain kinds of programs. Im not sure if it comes with photoshop or not 
I got my tablet at fred meyer but I think they have them at wal-mart too.

Although my drawings with the mouse don't look too bad... tablet would just make everything faster.

you use ps? If yes you do it with wich tool? brush? what kind and dimension?
because for me is difficult do the lineart with tablet I don t know why XD

I think this gave me a better understanding of how others shade. Maybe I should give it a try. I'm starting to get tired of my shading technique.
