Description Four boys get together to play a game of Dungeons and Dragons. I'm not sure if this particular game set was a recent purchase, but it seems that adventure awaits with magical consequences. ~Derisyan did the drawing of this comic, ~Happy-TGer commissioned this piece and I have now colored it.

I love the color palettes of the barmaid and the dark elf. The dark elf reminds me of someone but I can't recall who...

Thank you.

I wanted to play around a bit with the elf, and figured a dark elf would be more likely ro be in that sort of place considering the other patrons. The Barmaid's top and the dark elf's hair started out to be the same color, so I had to try to make them a little bit different. I knew I wanted the barmaid's hair red because it just seemed right to me and it would complement her outfit nicely.

As a side note, I did not know Lou was a half Orc until after I colored her. I gave her a lighter shade of green skin than the male sitting in the back table because I felt females were the fairer sex even amongst Orcs. Highlighting the green skin with yellow softened her features further, almost like she had makeup on or at the very least having the room light up her features. Anyway, I could tell she was happy being who she was and was not a warrior type with that staff.

Nice! I liked the idea of yellow makeup. We humans have pink skins so our makeups are colors close or complimentary of that (red, purple). It makes sense green skined races pick colors like yellow.

Also, in case you care. The tavern is a hub of demihumans, the owner is an old gnoll and the barmaid is his adoptive daugther.

Thank you

I was very happy with the way Lou turned out.

It seems you have a very detailed background story for this comic. I merely figured the barmaid was just part of the backdrop and did not have any sort of story behind her. The barkeep is a gnoll who adopted her? You thought up backgrounds for characters that haven’t appeared in the comic. Amazing amount of detail and thought that went into this on your part I must say. Verry impressive.

It's more of a vice. I like that the people in the background have their own stories, somehow makes writing so easy... I know why she seems to be so used to people randomly popping in her tavern (she even asks the half-orc if there is something wrong, since to her nothing is)

I dunno, I love the little life if breathes into everything

Ahh, mage by the looks of it...

If I recall, it was some kind of shaman.

Seems like a good possibility. I don't really know the specifics about the character except that ~Happy-TGer did mention to me she is half orc.
