Description
Four boys get together to play a game of Dungeons and Dragons. I'm not sure if this particular game set was a recent purchase, but it seems that adventure awaits with magical consequences. ~Derisyan did the drawing of this comic, ~Happy-TGer commissioned this piece and I have now colored it.Color

I am just a clorist, not the artist. I chose this because of the look and feel of the character and the transformation process. It does not matter to me if she does not fit the description of a female orc. Not four breasted or have a a pig snout? She still looks good to me and I am proud of this comic and my humble part in it. You of course have the right to say you hate this comic.

no she looks good, that is the problem, she looks too good. Orcs are disgusting and vile. They are monstrous demi-humans with no respect for life and beauty.
The females have four breasts because they always gives birth to half a dosen orclings at a time. It is usual for a littler or orclings to fight each other to the death for a spot at their mothers breast.
An orcling is able to crawl from birth and becomes fully grown in about 4 years. And orcs are practically ancient at age 12 and few gets to live that long.

I seem to remember having a conversation with the artist commenting how the boy was not scared when transforming and I thought it was interesting of all of the mythical beings a female orc was chosen. The artist Derisyan said the character had dreams about this. So I'm guessing the boy did not want to become an evil ugly orc. Two breasts were enough and no pig snout a plus for his fantasy.
Personally, I'd say fantasies can be anything you wish as long as you can think it to reality (so to speak). Heck, for all we know Lou (the former boy) could've ended up in an alternate universe where female orcs look like that. Or she is merely losely related to orcs and is a kinder softer more attractive version of an orc.

The purpose of having orcs in a setting, is to have a bunch of mooks tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php… to plough though.
They are part of the standard set
1) Humans, jack of all trade master of none.
2) Dwarfs, hyper masculine, great warriors and smiths but no mages
3) Elves, super feminine, artistic and delicate, grace type fighting and high magic.
4) Disgusting vile subhumans and breads like rats. Despite being worse at everything then the higher races they would still be able to overwhelm them easily by their share numbers if not for the fact that they used most of their time fighting each other.
There are many other races that can be included to help spice things up further, but these are the basics, and orcs or something like them are always the primary enemy. Humans are best able to resist the orc hordes due to the simple fact that they are more like them then elves and dwarfs that both live longer and have fewer children.

You have strong beliefs what orcs should look like and have made it clear you do not like this comic. I would say to you find an artist (if you are not one) and have a commission made about a comic about orcs that more closely fits your vision.

just call them something else. Thou cannot just colour a women green and call her an orc anymore then thinking that an albino Negro is "white"

I have said several times I am a colorist, not the artist or the one who originally commissioned this comic. The title and description say nothing about Lou being an orc. You keep complaining about her bieng one. Regardless, even if the title and description had called her an orc I would not change it. Whatever the artist and commissioner wants will always be done how they want it. You do not like this and have said your point of view several times. I think at this point enough is enough.

I did not mean to offend, and certainly not to demand that thou made any changes, I merely offered constructive criticism

Looking at this page you did made me realize something special was taking place visually above and beyond the physical transformation. In the first panel Lou looks like he is on fire, and that made me want to exploit that by making it seem he was undergoing a Baptism through fire. The yellow and reds start out looking like flames, and the green highlights searing magic beginning the process for him to become a female Orc. The last panel was really important to me because that is the last time you see a full body shot of her, and it is the final moments that Lou has come to the realization he is no longer human or male for that matter. I love the look on her face, she's not scared, she's not upset, she's just taking it all in rather calmly.

Again, untold backstories
Lou didn't freak out because he has had a similar recurring dream. Probably prophetic, but as an author I'll leave that ambiguous.

Interesting, Lou might actually have been the catalyst for his own transformation and managing to bring the rest of the gang with him on an adventure in a world based on D&D (or something similar to it). Deep within him was the tiniest hint of pure magic which began to stir within his dreams. The dice were just plain run of the mill D&D variety, the character sheets were not special, the other players had no obvious powers to invoke a spell, and the Dungeon Master was certainly taken off guard when Lou disappeared. He became his character and wished that the others that played the game would join her. It was at that point their character sheets began to glow and you see the narration boxes continue Lou's train of thought as if the spell was being cast by her. It makes for a fun story for sure.

Yeah, it's a double narrative play. It's a coincidence his/her musing happens alongside the teleporting? Is he an observer or is he provoking it? It's fun to leave that questions unanswered, but it's even funnier to put clues

I'd say grounds for panic would be becoming a full size dragon, but that panic would end fairly fast after that for me...as long as I were still male and didnt have stupid knights trying to "slay" me...
