Description
This is the current progress on King K. Rool. He is in the blocking out stage. There are still some major proportion tweaks before I start modeling the high-res mesh. 3d s Max 2008 used for modeling.Related content

This is for a commission. But will probably be used for another small side project afterwards.

It's looking amazing Can't wait to see the high polly.
o question: do you find it easier to character model in 3Dmax or Maya (thats if you used maya for modeling)

Thanks for the comment. I have used both programs to model, and although some people swear by Maya, I can not stand it for modeling. I use Max, because of small irritating issues I have with Maya. I gave it a chance, but I don't like how linear the modeling is or the tool in Maya. Everything else though, (rigging, rendering, texturing, animating) I choose Maya. Again, because of the tools.

Thanks. I have heard the same from a lot of people. I wana give 3Dmax a try one day (at least for modeling) Maya annoys the hell out of me XD
