Description
Deviant Bordermaker 2.00 is available here

PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE MOST RECENT VERSION!

Problem: You just got a print account and you have a bunch of prints that you want to submit at various sizes... but that could take a long time! Doing each image one by one is not only repetitive... it's boring, leaving a chance that you could make a mistake.

Solution: Deviant Bordermaker will help you speed up this process so you can spend less time resizing prints and more time making art.

How does it work? Deviant Bordermaker stretches the canvas around the image to create the borders. Using various sizes you achieve different aspect ratios. Using the included calculator you just enter the width or height of the image and the desired width of the border. The different height and width sizes will be displayed next to the various aspect ratios.

In Photoshop, run the Deviant Bordermaker action and enter the height and width you just calculated to create the borders. Deviant Bordermaker will automatically convert the image to the DeviantPrints color profile.

Finally run the "Save All Open Images" action to mass save all of your images to one folder.

Requirements
A program to unzip the .zip file
Photoshop 6 or above (to run actions)
A web browser (Looks like you got that covered)

There is a help/walkthrough included in the zip file with various pictures to help you get started. If you have any problems, don't hesitate to contact me.

The Future This thing is far from being finished. My goal is to make it more automatic in the future so the user doesn't have to enter in information. If anyone can help me out please contact me ASAP!

GEES....YOUR A REALLY FRIENDLY PERSON! THANKS FOR THIS. I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY CHANGING THE IMAGE SIZES. IF I USE THIS IT WILL STILL KEEP THE PICTURES QUALITY AND EVERYTHING RIGHT?

All it does is change the layout of the HTML so you never actually change the image itself (yet). In a future release DBM will send the data to Photoshop and then save new images that are ready for uploading. I hope i answered your question. Anyhow, if you have any more concerns or problems let em know!

Well don't go spreading the word just yet. I'm working on a new version that will be 10x more helpful. I just have one more feature to work on and then I have to test it on a mac to see if it is cross-platform compatible. I'll let you test it out first once I get it finished and you can let me know what could be improved. I hope this will make some waves for deviantprints!

Yea, me 2. I guess the word just hasn't gotten out about it yet. I wish i could come up with something that doesn't require an image editing program. But this is all I could do for my skill level. Maybe one day i'll meet a software developer who can solve this probelm. I'm glad you appreciate the thought anyway.
