This castle probably needs no introduction, it's Howl's Moving Castle from...Howl's Moving Castle (Studio Ghibli).I had to ditch a load of things because of various mistakes but I won't go into detail.
More of it was going to move but honestly, I reached a point where I just thought 'I really can't be bothered with this anymore'.
I think where this animation is at is 'sufficient'.
Thanks so much to `ClefairyKid for all the lessons and pointers. I've self-taught myself lot of pixel art in the past but she's taught me a lot more and this piece has come a long way since my old pixel work!

So awesome, HMC is one of my fav Ghibli films, if you haven't seen it yet, The Wind Rises is definitely worth a watch!

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, my dad just got back from Hong Kong this week and I also went home to celebrate his birthday so I'm a bit behind at the moment.
Anyway thanks very much for the kind comment! I do love Howl but my favourite I think still has to be Laputa, which you might know as Castle in the Sky.
I haven't watched The Wind Rises yet actually, I've been meaning to watch that one. I'll give it a go sometime in the near future!

I read the book, but I haven't seen the movie. I didn't even know it was a movie! Anyway, reading the book, I pictured Howl's Castle as just a big black castle that seemed to move along the ground.

Ah I haven't read the book, as I discovered it's existence via the film. But you know how Studio Ghibli is like, they have their own ways of imagining tales.
