Hi Guys! More WarHammer 40K!
Thanks to the folks at IFS and Boom! Studios, I get to lay my hands on a few more of their comic covers. This is 1 of the covers I did for "Damnation Crusade" Issue #3.

Another wonderful peice giving background for the Black Templars. I love the fact that you show the Neophyte and Initiate working closely together, as a good teacher and apprentice should. The chainsword seems a little on the less detailed side, as it's missing the powerplant for the chain drive, and the blade itself doesn't give the appearance of being chain-driven.
Also, I may be mistakened, but is the Initiate duel-wielding Bolters? I see the silouhete of one on his left, so it looks like he's carrying two.

I'm pretty sure the Initiate is in the front, because if I'm correct Initiates don't wear full armor.
Nonetheless, I think the Marine is indeed duel wielding Bolters, because some of the other pictures display him doing so.

Neophytes are the Black Templar recruits, Scout Marines in other chapters. They lack the Black Carapace implantation, so they wear a modified version of carapace armour, not the full power armour of the Initiates.

There Black Templars the Initate(Marine in power armor) trains the Neophyte(the *quote* scout) untill he see's the Neophyte is ready to become a full fledged Brother of the Black Templars. Thus the Black Templars don't have a scout company becuase new recruits are trained by the Initates.
