A lil series about the smash bros characters evolution through the 4 and a half game series thus far in the franchise. starting of course with the original 12, with 4 fighters per page through the 4 games.

And now we get to the 4 unlockables: Luigi, Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff and Ness. We shall explore how these 4 have come through the 4 games thus far. This is just how I view their evoltuions, as well as some info and experience i found through playing the games.

Luigi and his rise out of his brother's shadow

Not a lot of people like to acknowledge this these days, but Luigi is a clone character. Back in the first nobody cared that he was like they do about other clones these days. the original really luigi was like mario, by melee weegee got his own signature move, the green missile. And bye beginning, brawl luigi had a style all his own, mainly because his brother changed his down b, but really weegee was still in his bro's shadow still in the negative zone. but by 4, we see luigi relatively the same but now with the poultergust 3000 to really fire away the competition. Good job luigi.

Captain falcon's roller coaster of a ride

Oh captain falcon, your power was seen since the beginning. Remember the days when you could just overuse falcon punches in the first game, no seriously i went to a convention with the original smash bros in the game room, and whenever captain falcon was in the ring all you hear is falcon punch falcon punch and more falcon punch! By melee Falcon reached his prime, being one of the most used characters along with fox, shiek and falco. Smash bros brawl though lead to the captain meeting the nerf machine. crippling captain falcon's former glory. by smash 4 though he has rebounded to some of his old power, though he still isn't as easy to use as ganondorf now is.

Jigglypuff, hard to believe she's still here XD

Jigglypuff has always been an unexpected fighter, sporting the same amount of jumps kirby has in the original. by melee, well its a lil surprising that jiggles was a highter tier than pichu and kirby , Brawl gave jigglypuff a giant glitch on the bridge stage, and gave it a good air game, beware the aerial puff. and by smash 4 you'll mainly see jigglypuff online with one tactic, being a sneak with its down B gotta hate that. jigglypuff also has a lto of endurance, surviving longer than you'd expect it to.

ness, the pk kid who turned into a pain

I honestly did not unlock ness in the first smash bros, so i never really knew him til melee, and really he didn't give me much to really care about. come brawl and he and lucas came in, and both were somewhat annoying, lucas though had some things that ness didn't that made me respect him more than ness really. and by smash 4..... fuck you ness. your cheap ass pk thunder deserves a nerf, especially to spite the cheapasses who spam it, its so fast that its hard to even counter or stop. game mods, don't nerf greninja or other characters, nerf ness, seriously.

So that's all for now, up next we'll see the smash contestants who coulda been in the first but came a lil later.
