I'm not sure who Slaanesh is that people were talking about.Ā Ishtar I'm a bit rusty on my Gilgamesh but as I recall she was a Goddess that threatened to destroy the lock into Gehenna and release the spirits of After-Dead into the living if they didn't give back her lover.Ā She was able to save him but now they trade off places and that's why there are different seasons.

Ishtar is the Goddess of War, Love and Sex so there certainly could be a connection with Slaanesh.Ā

Post a monster drawing and everyone is pouring in to say "Cool" or "This reminds me of..." But post a very different sort of art than usual and only one other person comments so far. Well, I want to let you know I think this painting is interesting to absorb. The dark, commanding figure of Ishtar at the center of this crimson blood-like sea is absolutely striking. She could perhaps stand to be darker, but bottom line is I love this. XP

Quite honestly I've seen her and she doesn't look like this >.< Sorry, can't help myself sometimes.
Though I must admit that's quite an interesting painting.... I'm kinda wishing the gray was darker and.... well black. The red looks like a pool of blood....

The scanned colors look a bit different on the screen than in reality.. damn I am not even sure how you see them because they look different on my old and new computer. XDĀ
