Tho the scrip was taken away and her memory of the syllables erased, she started changing spontaneously and now it is feared that soon the change will become permanent and irreversible, her mind regressing …

Beast Boy a.k.a. Changling of Doom Patrol & Teen Titans (Doomed Patrol ?) didn't have this risk. BUT all his animal forms were emerald green and this would give him away.

Yea, in Marvel's ALPHA FLIGHT, one of the team members was Snowbird, who was able to change into any animal native to Canada.(even a swarm of mosquitoes !). If she stayed in animal form too long, she would need help in becoming humanoid (I say humanoid as her mother was an elder goddess ).

Box: big robot-like walking tank, remote controlled by a legless man, Bochs. An enemy of Vindicator usurped control, to use Box to fight Vindicator. In the fight,both got killed.
John Byrne should not have written as well as drawn the comic, as there was violence & blood in just about every issue.
Not a single character has been unscathed or killed eventually...
With stuff like this, esp with the Comics Code Authority now defunct, is it any wonder that I stopped reading Marvel ?
