The nation, still gripping with the aftermath of the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, rampant crime, inflation, and rising political tensions, reached a tipping point with the suspension of the 2024 Presidential Election. This critical decision, against the backdrop of a crumbling global financial system, marked the beginning of a period of social and political upheaval. Crime surged to unparalleled levels, states openly defied the federal government, and the nation’s ability to project force abroad collapsed. Cities experienced mass exoduses, and vigilante militias filled the void left by faltering law enforcement. Amidst this turmoil, the Praetors emerged as a unique force within the United States. Originating as grassroot vigilantes, they evolved into a formidable entity. The Praetor’s utilization of extrajudicial powers became a controversial yet necessary response to restore order during the American Anarchy.

Beyond its borders, the U.S. faced threats in Mexico and Haiti. The banking crisis amplified existing issues, leading to anarchy in Haiti and the ascendancy of cartels in northern Mexico. President Ramaswamy authorized military intervention, with the Praetors spearheading the intervention in Mexico due to most military personnel being deployed against China in Asia. Concurrently, El Salvador, led by President Nayib Bukele, navigated the crisis with resilience. El Salvador’s relative stability became a backdrop against the chaos unfolding in neighboring countries. As the American Anarchy unfolded, President Bukele’s leadership in El Salvador became increasingly influential in the region. Orchestrating police actions and a brutal crackdown on crime in neighboring states, Bukele solidified El Salvador’s position. Proposing the creation of a new Central American Federation, Bukele envisioned unity and prosperity.
