Yes, I know that the Nostalgia Critic and the Cartoon Hero already reviewed this one (on the same week no less). Yes, I know this is a CHRISTMAS Advent Calander and not a Hanukkah Menorah or whatever (mostly because: A) I'm not Jewish, and B) there's, unfortunately, not that many Hanukkah specials (and the fact I can't spell it reliably without Auto-Correct); in my defense, I'm probably not going to have a better time to talk about this, and a bad Adam Sandler movie is still a bad Adam Sandler movie no matter what holiday you celebrate this time of year.For the longest time, I wondered why this was so under the radar...and now I know it was buried for a good reason.

The animation isn't the problem; it's what they have them animating and everything around it. To this day, it's still the most mainstream Hanukkah movie; sure Christmas has Deck the Halls, Christmas with the Kranks, Jingle All the Way (2...with Larry the Cable Guy...and has literally nothing to do with the first one aside from stealing the plot) but we still have other, better Christmas movies to offset that. I would make a joke here, but I'm worried about how tasteless it may come off to have an agnostic pretending to know anything about the Jewish faith or what its people have gone through in the millennium or two.
