Description Here is a (rather long and wordy) tutorial I made to show my process for creating lineart in GIMP. It should be self-explanatory, but if you have any questions, be sure to ask!

To download GIMP, follow this link: [link]

To see how I color and shade, check out my other tutorial: [link]

For another great method for making lineart, check out this tutorial by ~opiatepie : [link]

Oh, you're welcome! Your tutorial was more in-depth in some areas so I thought it would be a good supplement.

And yeah, when I first used that horizontal flip thing, I nearly had a seizure of some kind! "Wait, how is it even possible that this looks fine one way and so horrible the other way??" ;A;

Thanks for your comment!

Well, I first tried the flip on an older picture of mine, not this particular one, and that's where I got that reaction. Nowadays I can sort of steel myself for the shock. XD

Dear god their foreheads scared me D:
And the show confused me [did they time travel or something at the end of the episode to the beginning or something what???, but it was cool to watch though, the fighting and etc

In effect, yes. There was this program in the supercomputer that would rewind time to just before XANA's attack so they could divert it, but you would only remember what happened if you had been digitized. They sort of explain it at the very beginning of season 3, but I never got past the first few episodes of that season.

/geek XD

Very nice tutorial! I might have to try it sometime, since I've never gotten up the courage to try doing lineart in the computer; I normally just draw it on paper and then scan it in and line and color it then. Hopefully with this, I can do it better. ^_^
