Orion Shield - A powerful spinning shield that doubles as a discus attack which can be thrown in a barrage of projectiles.
Vulcan Fist - A charging dash attack in which the user is enveloped in searing flames. Makes for a good finishing move.
Poseidon Wave - A slow, but forceful projectile attack with a wide range, made of high-pressure water.
Zeus Rage - A quick and precise shot of electricity with a long range that can paralyze the opponent if timed right.
-THE ORIGINAL-
Alpha is based on my best friend, Mike Luckas (Ultimate Creature II) who was also one of the original character designers for the series back in 2004. My mistake with writing Alpha's material in the original was that I was too caught between writing him akin to Mike himself, but still trying to force the "goody-two-shoes" lead hero personality, which clashed very bizarrely. There was also his romance with Flamegirl, the dialogue I wrote at the time clearly reflecting how I old I was when creating the original. Alpha DID go through a lot of character development during TvTome Adventures however, but the pacing wasn't quite executed well enough, nor did he reach the end of his character arc since the series was cancelled after its third season.
-THE NEW-
The current incarnation of Alpha is something I'm very happy with. When developing the personalities of the main five characters, Alpha and Flamegirl I had the most difficulty with. My original idea was keeping him fairly the same, but I felt it would've been far too boring to go that route. When I eventually decided to cast Blake Swift as his new actor (replacing Mike Luckas, who voiced "himself" in the original), the rest fell into place. Alpha is now actually the youngest of the group, maybe only a year younger than Flamey at the most, but this age difference lets him come off as more spiritedly and naive. He's very sweet and maybe a tad awkward. His relationship with Flamegirl in this one shifted a bit, in which case he's very comfortable around her and can speak his mind when feeling vunerable or out-of-place. He also has a bit more of a bro-rivalry with Kirb this time, which makes for some funny moments. As seen in the first episode, after being infected with "Kajet", Alpha's state of mind changes and his confidence comes to the surface. I don't imagine it so much as a split-personality sort of deal, but more like his emotions are unbridled and he can say whatever comes to mind regardless of repercussions, which ends up being a lifesaver to his friends. In terms of design, I brought down his shirt a bit to show less belly, fixed his hair a bit to have the spike over one eye, as well as his long sleeves and scarf, to project that sort of introverted feel to him. I also gave him a feather-tail to match his angel wings (as opposed to the strange lizard-tail). As with the original, Alpha will be going through some major changes in TOME, so look forward to seeing him grow alongside his new-found friends!

But they never call it Kajet. They just call it "the Forbidden Power". It's starting to feel like giving it that name was just a reference to the show's composer that had no real point.

No but that doesn't change that the main characters don't know that it's called that or what it is. I'm sure in given time they will find out it's a virus and it's not just a crazy out of control power Alpha has.

The name is very unlikely not necessary because before it got re-booted you physically get to see what Kajet looks like even though it was under a different name. It can be rather assumed that it will become a possible main antagonist in given time.
However you also are being rather nit picky about things. Not everything really HAS to be explained like the classes and such. I'm not saying the show is perfect I mean everything or almost everything has faults. Not only that but you also have to take into consideration that only ~Kirbopher15 is writing the story and all and the show really isn't that far in so I'd simply assume more and more things will be clarified over the course of the future episodes.
I would simply stop looking for all that is wrong and enjoy what is great about it~

Then here's a simple solution: he needs to get more writers. At least ones that will make Flamegirl more than just "the love interest girl" or make the hackers actual villains as opposed to just annoying (seriously, nothing they do has any sort of long term effect). These are inexcusable no matter how "not that far in" the show is. I was willing to ignore a lot of that during the initial episodes, but we're nearly a year and a half into this show and neither of these things have even been addressed, despite them being two of the biggest complaints of the show as well as the easiest to fix (making the lack of attention to them even more frustrating).
Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy they've been able to do even this much with their limited resources. I'll support it any way I can because I know this series has major potential. However, part of that support is pointing out where they mess up, and they are seriously messing up in very obvious ways. How are they going to get better if all we do is damn them with faint praise?

The hackers have actually served more purpose than you might think if you look closely at how some of them acted like Ravenfreak for example it's definitely been implied that he sensed something about Flamegirl or implanted something on here when he came into contact with her.
Zetto is definitely going to be causing issues in the future.
As for the others I can't say much about them. I can see your argument however.
However though he's the only one writing it if he truly thought he needed help he could have asked for help from the voice actors/actresses or his background and sound artists.
It may be in a year and a half but there are only seven episodes. I seriously do not know a single TV show that things have been completely clear and the characters personalities and really overall are complete. Seven episodes isn't exactly enough time to explain every character in depth. Characters change over time from experiences and I can already see they are changing; especially Kirb, Alpha and Nylocke.

Okay, let's look at what the hackers have done so far and what it's accomplished:
Ep 1: Rockoon and Doubling blow up pillars and harass players in Lavendera while looking for the Forbidden Power. Not only does the power end up nowhere near there, the damage they cause is negligible and players like Kirb freely ignore them without any consequence.
Ep 2: Splat attempts to steal beta weapons and threatens to destroy the mansion. Again, the damage she causes is easily repaired by GC, as would any further damage she might have caused if she had come into possession of any of the weapons.
Ep 3: Demonking blows up parts of Mechcity (most likely as a distraction, but saying so would've at least given it some context) and Ravenfreak implants the countermeasure thing in Flamegirl. Demonking's damage is completely forgotten after this (as is Alpha's in Ep 5) and he never suffers any repercussions for being affiliated with hackers (this is something that is zero tolerance in real life games).
Ep 4: Rockoon hacks a quest boss which could "destroy the entire region" or something, but again, graphic damage has shown to have no actual effect on anything.
Ep 7: Neomutant confirms that the program in Flamegirl is working. Admittedly, this a proper follow-up to what Ravenfreak started and obviously leading up to a major plan, but this leads me to my next point regarding said plan:
D-buggers' goal is clearly getting ahold of the virus, seeing as they're making steps to contain the person carrying it, Alpha, using people around him, like Flamegirl. They also mention needing a specific item, which must mean the Drain Edge, seeing as it's the only item that has ever been introduced, and would explain what Splat was really looking for during her attempted robbery. So, we can conclude that they plan to use the Drain Edge to trap the virus and harness its power.
HOWEVER. What specifically can this virus do? We know it can damage graphics, but that's no big thing. We know it can make players feel actual physical pain, but the worst that can do is forcibly log them out, and it doesn't seem to deter them from playing for too long. The only long term goal I can see out of this is that Tigerlilly might want to discourage people from playing the game for whatever reason, and considering none of the moderators seem to care about anything that's happening with the hackers or the virus, despite players also coming to them with complaints about it, I'd say that's actually something to get behind. TOME's clearly not being run very well, so all the characters might as well just jump to a different game without all this BS. They literally have every reason to leave.
And I'm very sorry you had to read all that, and understand if you didn't want to bother.
As for the characters, I'm not asking for every explanation in depth. I'm asking for the bare minimum of explanation, which Flamey and Alpha are nowhere near. Which is bad, since they're the main protagonist and Love Interest.

I can't say much now though the mass majority of the storyline is still unknown~
I do see all of your points like I said before.
As far as the administrators go they aren't really any main focus so I do see that there's a hole there.
I however can guess that like episode 6 other future episodes will possibly have main focus on the other characters. I don't know.

But even if it's unknown, it' s not being set up very well~
It likely won't be till the tournament is over, so that's another year Flamegirl is only there to be "that one chick" instead of an actual character.

However I will say this; it's become evident that you are rather impatient with this all. Let me remind you that he also has other things he has to do and animating takes a long time.
You have to give him credit for where it's due, I mean getting a 20-30 minute fully animated episode done in a month in a half ( as that's how long they've been apart in episodes approximately) is really good considering he has a small crew and he's the only one animating it all.

If he needs longer to make the writing better, then why not just take longer? I'd be willing to wait if it meant he could be at his best.

This will certainly help with the coloring on an Alpha fanart I've been working on. Unfortunately there will be a limited amount of shading, but I still like it. And apparently everyone else at my school likes it, too, since I was drawing him in Math Class off of memory and several people said I was good. I hadn't even completed the hair style yet! Anyway, I'll upload it soon!

YAY! Just so you know I love TOME! I'm trying to get my friends to watch it but some of them can be so stubborn! -_- But don't worry! I'll get them to watch it somehow! I'll probably get my friend's help or something. But I like how you made Blake Swift play Alpha. He's a really good voice actor! Also, is Alpha and Flamey going to get together in the new one? I love where you're going with this, but I have to wonder. In the old series alpha obtained Kagemamoru out of a desire to become stronger. Here he obtains Kajet out of what seems like a naive sense of doubt. Also does the new version of alpha not remember what happens when he goes berserk?

yeah, I noticed that Alpha and Flamegirl almost seem to be on opposite sides of the relationship from where they were in the original, at least before the virus infection.
also noticed that you included a shitload of characters and techniques which originally didn't appear until season 2, I wonder how those will affect the plot...
also the battles look weird without the 3x6 grid, they don't feel as much like a game anymore

I just wanted to say how awesome I think TOME is. ^^ It's so interesting and I can't wait to watch more. And the fact that ShadyVox voices Alpha makes me even HAPPIER!! <3 <3 <3 (And yes I'm a Blake fangirl, get used to it lol)

I can't wait to see more of 2011!Alpha as TOME moves along. He certainly has the flare of a likable main character IMO.
Though I was actually a bit confused of the word "Kajet" being tossed around. I guess that is the replacement name towards Kagemamaru? I like the old name, but I guess it would make sense to change it because it's too long to pronounce.

Yeah I decided "Kagemamoru" was just one of those remnants of internet teenage years when Japanese-sounding names are cool. Also, I can't go too far into it, but the name isn't quite "suiting" this time around. "Kajet" comes from the music composer, sort of a tribute to him, since his original name was "Kagetsurugi".

After rewatching the episode at least twice, I think I can tell how "Kajet" suits better; whenever he talked, it sounded like a sort of distorted music note. Loved the designs of it too; same old glitchy TV screen but you can see the original lines and patterns this time around.

I, for one, can fully stand behind the feathery tail. Always did think the random lizard was weird.
He sure has the makings of 'likeable' character written all over him in the reboot. I understand changes of time can be a harsh mother, but as the series progresses, I sure do wonder if that demeanor of his will last. At least we got SOME kind of idea what may become when he's in Kajet Mode, as it were.

The lizard tail came from the whole "Ultimate Creature" thing which the face markings, the angel wings, and the claws came from. Since that whole thing is irrelevant this time, I figured the feather tail made more sense. ;]

To me, TOME is truly a masterpiece! I can see where you get your insperattions and I have to say you made it original and inot something that tunes watchers in the the interesting character, art styles, and plot devices. I have to say Keep it up and I can see it going very far!
