Drum Sparks - Six electrical orbs appear around the user and are launched in succession at the opponent like a cannon.

-THE ORIGINAL-
Neomutant’s role and purpose in the original story was incredible similar to how he ended up being in the current version. He was still chasing after Flamey, although he was merely a “cyber-stalker” before, and still upheld his douchey misplaced sense of chivalry. He was only in a few episodes, but was a memorable character to the fans and eventually became a good guy.

-THE NEW-
This character and the story that went with him was actually one of my favorites from TvTome Adventures, so when it came to finally doing Episode 07 I wanted special attention to be paid to Alpha, Flamegirl and Neomutant. In particular, I wanted to help develop Flamegirl as a character and took Neomutant as an opportunity to flesh her out. I “upgraded” his stalker-ness to being a pursuer of Flamey’s in real life, as well as in the game. Although some of their history is a mystery for now, I wanted it to be very clear to the audience that it was a one-sided affection on Neo’s part. His charismatic tendencies are meant to be a cover-up for his own lack of self-esteem and to mask his otherwise selfish and chauvinistic intentions. Although Neomutant doesn’t come off as a good person, he was a LOT of fun to write, record and animate. Even in the original, I had wanted Neo to have a slight hint of a Spanish accent and was finally able to cast him appropriately. I had a certain actor in mind for Neo for YEARS, but due to unavailability was not able to get them. Thankfully, Chris Guerrero, who fit the bill perfectly, did me a HUGE favor and filled in as the voice. His performance really helped make the episode and the character memorable and I hope Neo becomes another fan-favorite of the series’ bad guys!
