Voice Actor Chronicles - Episode 09 - Colleen ClinkenbeardOkay so I said Brina Palencia would be the last FUNimation one for a while, but this one needs to be done: Colleen Clinkenbeard. Her characters on this pic include: Monkey D. Luffy (left) from One Piece, Eclair from Kiddy Grade (top left), Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist (top right), Racheal Moore from Case Closed (middle), Beet on Beet the Vandel Buster (right) and Masao (bottom left) and Hima Nohara (bottom right) from Crayon Shin-chan. Colleen I've met at quite a few conventions over the past couple of years actually, and she's made quite a splash in FUNimation's pool of shows. Whether it's infants, low-key bad-girls, little boys, mary-sue lead girls, and now Luffy of all things, Colleen's gotten the chance to do quite a number of different characters. She's also quite an accomplished director, working with Mike McFarland on FMA together, and then eventually doing Tsubasa Chronicles, Negima!, and MoonPhase to name a few. Colleen's also recently been confirmed to take the role of Luffy on the new One Piece dub, and I have plenty of confidence that she'll be good for the job. I'll be giving her this at Otakon in about a week.
