WTH!! LeGASP!! *wimpers* I don't like this Elliot. DX Whatever happened to the handsome, blue eyed boy who stole away our hearts??!! *cries like a heartbroken rejected fangirl* This guy is creepy! *shudders* Even if it is Pinhead in human form. Ugh! Why are the comics being such morons!? Why can't we have left it as it was; with sweet baby-faced Elliot and sexy and broodi Pinhead. GARAHAH!!!! Ehem. Sure is interesting to see though. :/

Well, maybe in the comics he looks better than on the cover. In the comics he looks like Doug Bradley in his current years. In any way, I hate the creators of the comics for the way they changed Elliot.

I have come to hate the comics for all this messing around too. Ugh. Why couldn't they have left things as they were? With just Pinhead as he always was? Why mess with the basics? As interesting as this is to see, I don't like it. Heh, this Pinhead-Elliot looks like Doug looks now in his later years? LOL. A little, but I gotta say - Doug Bradley now aged 57 is much better looking than this chap. -_-" Goddamn them all! Gosh, I hope it all goes back to normal soon cos this is all starting to creep me out. And I hope to see some bloody Pinsty soon too. :/ Well, rant over.

Well, the left is Elliot Spencer as a human, whilst the new one is an evil unbound Pinhead in human form. Sadly Elliot, separated from his 'evil' side, sacrificed his own identity and life to save Joey.

As for your theory - that Elliot's soul died after merging with Pinhead - You know, I can invent my own theory that would be impossible to check, and consequently verify or disprove. For example, after the fight with Channard, when Leviathan resurrected the fallen cenobites, he made some mistake and part of Elliot's (PInhead's) brain what already had died of asphyxia, wasn't "mended" and as a result our personage started getting into madness. LOL

Oh, I don't think he died at all, not literally. I think what clearly happened is that he ceased to be a separate individual. Elliot and Unbound Pinhead once again became a single Pinhead, beyond both good and evil. Anyone can do the theories, that's part of the fun and the point. But either way, we only ever saw Elliot 'separate' from his dark side. In the new comics, we see him whilst he still has his damaged dark side.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but the creators of comics told that they denied all the events happened after Hellbound. It means, events of Hell on Earth never happened.
..if you can find a quote in comics, saying that this "new" Elliot is just Pinhead in human form - indulge me with it. I don't remember this.

They never said that. All they said is that this works as a trilogy, and that was early on and we all know that their plans and writers have changed since then. Even if they did, it doesn't matter - it's just marketing, it doesn't matter. It obviously does not follow how Hellbound ends at all, and it had a Hellseeker reference. However good or bad a work may be, what is said to help sell a comic is irrelevant.
As for Elliot, it's there in the comic. or rather HR3 as well. HR3 is not Elliot, it clearly says in that text "my evil was too strong.. it hid". HR3 is a divided "good" and "bad" Elliot. This comic has all been about Pinhead wanting to be human again, not separated. Kirsty and all the other cenobites are also seen to be the same characters, and personalities. Pinhead is human now.

Let's just wait and see what there will be in these comics. Maybe they'll give us some explanation.
