I was looking for a meme template and found this. I've been playing Mass Effect since 2015 or so and I just now realized while looking at this that the bathrooms are far away from where Joker, the guy with brittle bones, flies the ship. That's a bit mean, isn't it?Related content

R.I.P everyone's bladder on the Normandy...except Tali and maybe the other aliens. I say Tali's name because it's possible her suit has some kind of built in toilet system. Krogan may can go days without having to go and possibly the same can go to turians. Maybe there's a hidden bathroom way down in the ship.
I think I'm thinking too much into this, but I don't care. I like doing that kind of thing for fun.
Speaking of bathrooms, in ME2, I went into the women's bathroom as male Shepard and EDI told me I was in the wrong bathroom. Funnily enough she didn't say anything when my female shepard went in the men's bathroom. I guess because I didn't go past a certain point. MShepard went all the way inside.
I just realized that once you said it. Where do they get food from?Β I'm starting to question everything now. Were does Wrex sleep? Where does anyone sleep? All those beds can't hold the crew!

Krogans can survive for months from the nutrients stored in their hunch. Though they would still need to go if they eat daily.
Turians are similar to Earth birds and they still need to go too.
Quarians I don't know, Tali's suit seems pretty form fitting. Doesn't seem to be any room for a waste disposal and especially not a storage system. XD

Well atleast on the Normandy 2, there is a cook (who also cleans the toilets and not always washes his hands) and bunk beds. ^^
Though for the bunk beds in ME1, I believe sleeper pods are used instead, you see them in the long corridor near Kaidan's station.
And I guess there could be some boxes with MRE's (standard military provisions even today) for food.

You have a point, though I suppose Krogan could have strong bladders. They look like they could but I could be wrong. It does but she mentions in ME2 that her suit is more than what meets the eye while she mentions having multiple pockets for carrying parts. There's likely some kind of special waste disposal system because of the fact that they travel outside of their ships and they have weak immune systems. I should think they would especially since they go through the trouble of adding certain features.Β Β

Well the old man's dead in my game so I guess everyone has to cook their own food. I'm such a good commander. Β I remember when I first heard it. I had to listen to what he said again. Then I proceeded to eat his food later in-game. I hope he washed his hands. Β Also Cerberus can spend all that money on bringing Shepard back to life but can't find the time to hire a maid. That or they didn't feel like it. After hearing that, I wouldn't eat Rupert's cooking anymore.

Don't worry I won't spoil it. I will say that he could have made it to ME3, but I killed him off on purpose because my Shepards had stuff to do. Well not really for Male Shepard. He just wanted to be a jerk while Female Shepard didn't complete her loyalty missions for the people I wanted to go into ME3.

So does mine.Β I messed up though the first time. I sided with Legion and Tali acted cold afterwards. I got back on her good side, but I was romancing Jack. In a separate save file, I did the same thing but couldn't get back on her good side. After beating the human reaper, she mentioned wanting to get the romance back on track and then talking to her again, I guess she remembered what happened earlier and stayed mad at me. I got her this time around though.
True! I dunno about that. I'm fond of Kaiden though that got cut out the 1st game for male Shepard and got added in in the 3rd for some reason. I don't really like Liara too much anymore. Something about her romance is bland compared to the other women, especially Tali. Then there's Samara who you can't date. Ashley's alright, but that line she says about Liara in ME1 threw me off.Β
I have her for my Male Shepard though I'm thinking about putting her with Female Shepard as well. Not Jacob. I learned that lesson the hard way.Β

I just hate how you have no control when to activate the IFF, making it so you can't just go get Legion before most other companions

Actually you used to be able to pick them both up when you pick up the non-optional members of the team (aka Garrus, Jack, and Mordin). There's some videos on it where there are audio files that reveal this. I wonder why they changed it.
It was along the thoughts of "It speaks! Since when do geths talk? I'm not getting rid of this thing!" I then proceeded to bug him every chance I got and brought him along to everything. Even Tali's loyalty mission because I thought it would be funny. Then Garrus got thrown into the back of the bus with Jacob and Miranda. Sorry man.Β

Early in the development they planned on Shepard being revived by the Geth instead of Cerberus, thus you would have gotten Legion from the beginning.

I bring Legion to Tali's loyalty mission too, the reactions are hilarious.
Also Tali's recruitment mission is also funny to bring Legion.
I do tend to bring companions with bonuses towards the enemies I will be facing.
If I fight all synthetics, Legion and Tali are awesome with their hacking abilities.
Legion does wide hacking and Tali does uber hacking.
I also feel that Legions ability that is given to an option for Shepard is awesome, the extra shield power really saved my Shepard's bacon many times ^^

It is. The first time around I didn't take Legion to meet her, but then when I played again around the 4th time to attempt to romance her that time around, I took him and I thought it was pretty funny. I do it just about every time now.Β
Same here though I'll take Jack for her biotics and switch between Legion and Tali as my second team mate. Jack and Samara are really helpful with their biotics. If I'm not a biotic, I use mainly use Jack for the husks because of the shockwave move. That move is really useful especially against those husks.
Yeah that is pretty useful especially on more difficult settings and situations.

Save file editing really is quite easy and it shouldn't mess up your game if just keep it to a minimum.

I try to use all of them, though I find it hard to find a good use for Samara, Jacob and Thane.
Well Samara can help set up a barrier in the final mission but so could Jacqueline.
Makes me wonder if you have a fully enhanced and upgraded adept Shepard could do it safely, offcourse you would be a sitting duck as you can't help fight off the collectors. XD
Zaeed and Mordin often supplement my Shepard's perfectly.

Same here. I've actually used more people in ME2 than ME1 though. In ME1, I mostly used Wrex and Garrus. I rarely used Tali. Same with Liara. In ME2, I feel the same about Thane and Jacob. I will use them every now and then just to include them and get dialogue.
I use Samara for the barrier since, again, I need Jack for her shockwave move. Miranda is suitable for the barrier job as well. From what I've heard she's good at every job the game lets you choose for her and she's hard to kill off during those jobs.

In ME1 Wrex and Garrus are my homies for most missions and Tali is an awesome anti Geth companion, great for Geth heavy missions.
Wrex and my Shepards are the tanks.
I bring Kaidan along when I'm doing the L2 biotics missions, him being one I find it good that he can help calm them down.
Ashley is for a few random skirmishes. XD
In ME2 if I need to be honest I often think that Zaeed and Mordin are enough, I just need to specialize my Shepards into a bit of anti shield/barrier.
And their inferno grenades can deal with both armour AND health quite nicely... XD
No Jacob doesn't have inferno grenades, he has incendiary ammo but my Shepard's tend to have that already themselves XD

Me too. ^^ They really came through during that last part with Saren. I was disappointed when they wouldn't let Wrex come back for 2. He was one of my favorites to have on the squad. That's why I like Garrus. He's been there from day one and is probably one of your closest companions. Well at least for me he is. He also looks up to Shepard as well. The wiki states he will actually become more renegade or paragon depending on what you say to him in the first game. I really need to find the difference once I play as a paragon.
I will give Tali that though I still keep her back on the ship for most missions anyways.
I bring Kaiden along randomly and mostly on the Citadel for some reason. It might be just me looking for more dialogue. I keep hearing people say he complains about headaches, but I don't really ever hear him say anything about it. I also found him pretty useful on that one station where you have to beat the AI's high scores. I can't remember the name of the station, but it's found in ME1.

Ah okay. I must be thinking of someone else with grenades. I love using the grenades and both of them especially when getting Jack and Grunt. I like Zaeed the most though. I remember when I messed up his mission and got him killed later. I can't remember if you can mess up Mordin's.
What did you use Liara for? Speaking of her, did you pick her up right away or did you wait a while before getting her on the ship?

You can save Wrex in ME1 with a Paragon/Renegade/getting his family armour persuade and becomes the Krogan leader trying to unite the Krogan clans on Tuchanka ^^

That's what I did. Apparently Zaeed can die during the mission, but he didn't die with me. I've heard you can save the hostages and help Zaeed, but I've tried and failed. It was likely a lie. This was on the same page that "tells" you how to get rid of Miranda in ME2 and they lied to me.
They could, but I don't think Shepard gave enough of a crap tell Joker to do so.

The first time, I did take her because of that. Lately I just save her for last. She becomes overwhelmed by the facts that you know and the last thing that happens with her is that she knows what Shepard sees. That's the only reason why you need her. Then she proceeds to greet you like an old friend in ME2 despite you getting her dead last.

Zaeed can be killed by you if you do his loyalty mission after the suicide mission and he somehow survives.
If I'm not mistaken, though I always do ALL missions be fore the suicide mission. XD

Maybe have ME2 Liara saved by some random other person or just plain replaced like Wrex is, if he dies on Virmire.

Oh I've gotten Wrex. That's just what I've read happens. Wrex is too useful to leave behind. Same with Garrus. I wanted to leave him just to hear what he says if you don't pick him up in the first game but I didn't have the heart to leave my buddy behind.
My female Shepard is more paragon than Male Shepard though she's still renegade. It just sounds right when Male Shepard acts renegade 24/7. Female Shepard sounds much better paragon.
I didn't know that. I always do it before. I got him killed during the Suicide mission on accident. I believe it was because I got him to lead the first team and he ended up dying. I thought he'd make a good leader based on his past, but I was wrong.
I do as well unless I want to keep some of the crew alive then I may not do one or two.
I tried not to, but the game forced me to save her much to my disappointment. I'd rather not have her around. Yeah that would be interesting. Then again she would probably be dead. She was trapped in that force field for a while.Β

I can't bring myself to kill Wrex. If I didn't care for him and Garrus, I'd just leave Garrus on the Citadel and kill Wrex on Virmire. But yes that would leave your squad pretty small with only Kaiden/Ashely, Tali, and Liara. It's even smaller if you don't pick up Liara. That's not a very appealing idea. I haven't even done that before. I don't care how cool Wreav's voice is.Β

Not really. I don't see the appeal of asari. They're my least favorite alien race with all the cooler ones getting less attention. Liara's nice but her romance is bland compared to everyone else's. It kind of irks me she doesn't get mad at Shepard. Well except when I cheated on with her the second time. That and the fact you can't kill her like everyone else. I can't stand Aria. I hate I have to run into her. I want her dead the most. I don't know what everyone sees in her.
From what I've heard, she functions the same as her mom and is even able to imitate her voice. She doesn't try anything either though Shepard can be a moron and do it anyways. Nobody notices except Kasumi and I believe Kelly as well. Not all of them are. Some go away so they can't hurt anybody and Morinth chose to go on doing it. Realistically I wouldn't invite one on the ship if you paid me. It's really dangerous especially since you get told a lot about Morinth.

Because either Kaidan or Ashley has to be send off and if Wrex died, you wouldn't have 2 companions available for your strike team XD

Likely. Liara mentions it in-game about people's perception about her race and comes off annoyed by it. I really don't see what's so fantastic about them. At least Liara's cute and Samara's a handsome woman (my brother called her hideous though).Β
There's nothing wrong with fan service just not too much of it or else it might cause distractions in the game for some people. The biotics are just a bonus and the justicar thing sounds pretty cool. Everyone loves Asari, but I don't. I'm pretty sure if you turn one down in the ME universe, people think you're crazy. I'm not against anyone shipping their Shepard with Liara since she is a nice person and does care for Shepard. I just don't see the appeal of asari.
I've been trying to figure that out. I guess they take DNA from you while doing the deed and their bodies do the rest with randomizing the DNA with the Asari's.

Well you can a little bit. The moment you shoot, everyone is alerted though. It would be nice to do so sometimes. Then again I like barging in even more so I don't mind not being able to sneak especially since I'm not good at it. You can only sneak when you play as Joker and that's only one segment.Β

It's something like that. I can't remember the name of the mission, but there is a mission where you find out some people from the Alliance were killed by a Thresher Maw because they were lead there. I believe it was by Cerberus or geth.
I know but I kill it every time out of boredom. I'm pretty sure I won't kill it once I get around to beating the game on a much harder mode.

Though offcourse that does makes investigating the site a bit harder... XD
The first time I played ME2, I remember being frustrated that none of my weapons have much effect on that dang Maw.
So I just pulled out the Collectors particle rifle, killed it and got a "big game hunter" achievement... XD

What's the hardest enemy in the game to you? I hated those husks in the first game as well as those Geth Colossus. I'd have to say the krogan and the bigger geth in the second game. The Collector assassins were pretty hard as well.Β Praetorian was hard as well though you only run into it twice. Scions can be difficult as well.

The Geth Colossus just meets the Cain, REPAIR THIS! Though it is one of the enemies that doesn't get knocked out by one shot of the Cain on harder difficulties.
Well the husks do like to swarm you, though you just need good AOE weapons or powers for them ^^
Collectors aren't not much of a problem, except for the Collector praetorian, that thing is nasty as if doesn't shoots directly at you and ONLY you it regenerates it's barrier...
Though any enemy that is basically a gigantic ammo sink or bullet sponge, is something I despise in games.
Especially if they also have instant kill attacks. :\
