Description This is Bluebeary, and he used to be a pair of corduroy trousers.

Bluebeary is completely sewn by hand and my poor fingers were pricked like pincushions by the time I got him done!
I'm really proud of Bluebeary, I've only made one traditional styled, jointed teddy bear before (you can see him here: [link] ) and Bluebeary was certainly a leaning experience!

It was fine. I did work a bit more gently then I would have if I'd been using a sturdier material. And when I was cutting out all the pieces, I tried to place them so that I didn't use any of the really worn though bits. Still, the nap has worn off differently in all the pieces, so Bluebeary has a slightly mismatched look to him.
