Description
Edit: Where it says "lens", read "cornea". My bad. P:I painted these studies a while ago. I was going to do a lot more, but forgot about it during school. I don't plan on continuing, so I figured I'd post it as is.
These were referenced from photos I took of my dog. (He's a 12-year-old jack russel terrier.)
I wanted to practice painting realistic dog eyes and to build a collection of studies for future reference. I was also shooting for a little muscle memory. x'D Not sure that worked.
I included some notes I took at the bottom. Feel free to reference this if you like. No need to link back.
Hope someone finds it helpful!

Really nice job, thank you! And indeed, this inspires me to look more carefully to things around me, too.

the studies are great and your text along with it alone inspires me to look at stuff more carefully, notice whats right in front of your face.

I feel that way, having done it. I wish I took more time to do stuff like this as it is. Some leaf studies would be really useful... I have a hard time coming up with a big enough variety of plants when doing background work, because I don't have any memory for them.
