Description
This is the first reference sheet Klak Klak has ever had, complete with a bit of a make over. I got rid of his feathers and his markings. I miss the color combination that they provided, but I think this simple design suits the purposes of my project best. :\I included as much info as I could fit. xD If you have any questions or think I forgot something, let me know. If I decide to write up anything about his personality or back story, I'll add it to this artist description.
Oh, and I know the drawings aren't all on model (which I guess could be ref sheet sin... >>; ), but my technology is limited here and I didn't want to go back and edit the drawings. I guess all I'm trying to say is that his feet aren't really as massive as they seem in the bottom left drawing.

I first made Klak Klak for a role-playing forum my friends started. I think there was a trend in giving animals (namely canines) the markings/colors of other animals. I think I really liked crows, even back then, or at least I thought the relationship of wolves and corvids was interesting. Originally Klak Klak was black and had a lot more feathers. But giving him bird feet didn't seem all that strange, since people have been drawing gryphons for hundreds of years. Actually, since then I've heard about another heraldic animal called an enfield ( [link] ).

Yeah, go ahead. XD I love it when people make their own. And I mean, it's not that unique of an idea so I don't feel very possessive of it. Lots of other people have made dog-bird hybrids before me. But I'd love it if you showed me when you're done!

No, at least not in this case. They were so arbitrary I couldn't stand it any more. XD Though I'm still halfheartedly considering giving him more natural markings in the same color.
