Description
It's been a few years since I've drawn my City of Heroes blaster Gaelic Rage, the daughter of Celtic Rage from a future timeline. She "won" a recent poll I put up asking which of my original characters should get a new look, and I'm glad she did because it pushed me to really take her in a different direction. I love the new color scheme, and this might be the best darn pixie I've ever drawn (I took liberties with the hairstyles available in-game, though). I aimed to give her the same eye color as her mother, though, in canon that's never been confirmed (though it's a bit of an open secret).Anyhow, let me know what you think -- whether about the drawing itself, or just her new look in general. Comments and critiques are always welcome and appreciated!

She's looking sharp and in her new updated look as well which brings out the colors and design that you drew her in too.

Thank you! I was hoping that'd be the case.

Beautiful work, Kevin! The skin tones look so incredible!!! I do love the look, too. Great outfit and the hair looks great - really fits well with her face (lovely btw!). You probably know by now that there's usually some detail that really jumps out at me above the rest for some reason. In this piece, it's the hands. They are exquisitely drawn. Just beautiful!!! They're so elegant and the way her one hand leisurely unfurls so that she's touching the arrow's tip is so well done. Both of those hand positions are really, really hard to portray, but both are perfect and look so natural. It's like the icing on the cake to me. Another job superbly done!

Thank you, sir! I'm glad the effort put into the hands paid off -- I had to use my own as models, and wasn't quite sure if my paws were up to the task. Fortunately, I bought a bow and arrow set years ago (never fired a single shot), so I happened to have an arrow nearby to help get the poses down.
