Prometheus watches the great battle unfold from atop a mountain, the all powerful and unconquerable tyrant who had him imprisoned long ago was finally getting what was coming to him, he was now facing a foe who was so absolutely powerful that Zeus was but an insignificant insect before his power. Zeus refused to yield, he would not give up his 'right' to treat all his play things and now that attitude was coming back onto him seven fold before the impossible happens before.....Zeus dies. Prometheus laughs as his old betrayer is destroyed and then he moves forwards towards the spot of Zeus's demise so that he might look on the face he who has avenged so many of Zeus's victims, himself included. Prometheus comes on the being, a huge man with a powerful physique, wrapped in Gold and blue armor. Prometheus tries to maintain an air of stealth, but the man says "Prometheus.....I know your there", Prometheus freezes up in fear before the man says "don't be afraid, I'm just making sure these gods are informed....sit, listen if you like", Prometheus sits down and relaxes. God looks on the gods and says "now, you will all heed this warning, you may go about your business, treat each other as you wish, but leave the people of the earth unmolested by your foul behavior, interact with them if you wish...but be gentle, you are all gods....it's about damn time you started acting like it", God vanishes in a blinding flash of light. The gods stand awe struck for a moment before Ares breaks the silence "now, a moment of silence for the fallen father......moments up!!! time for a new king to take the thrown!! Zeus was a fun guy and all, everyone knows how well me and dad got along, but we need a new...", Heracles punches Ares in the face and roars at him "silence you despicable naive!!!", Athena lowers her head and says "brother....Ares is right...a new king must be crowned...", Ares stands back up and wipes the blood from his face, smirking at Heracles before saying "I nominate myself, who else but the god of w...", this time Heracles uppercuts him high into the sky and says "would you just shut the fuck up". The gods are all silent before Hera steps forth and says "I shall take the throne, Zeus was my husband, his death leaves the throne to me by....", Ares crashes down next to his mother, landing on his feet and says "silence, we all know daddy dearest was you husband in name only, honestly, how many women and men are left who haven't slept with him...I'm the only one here who can organize and lead us", Athena laughs at Ares and says "please, you can hardly keep yourself in line, much less the gods...I on the other hand can lead us", Heracles spits and says "sorry, sis, but we all know dad liked me best, I know how to actually give back to the people, hell, I used to be one of them", Hera snorts before saying "you? Zeus's bastard, ha, your claims of mortal understanding prove you are far to short sighted to be the ruler of the Olympians". Prometheus watches as the gods argue before a swelling of ash and earth pool in the center of the crowd and an explosion reveals Lord Hades and Lady Persephone to the crowd, the Lord of the dead waits for everyone to calm down before saying "really? any of you fit to lead? you all have spent far too much time with my dead brother, you all possess his worst aspects, perhaps not in as great of a degree, but the point stands that you would be just another Zeus....I actually have patience with beings of earth, I preside over the eternal treatment of the fallen....but you all make me sick, if there were a decent ruler among the lot of you, I'd return to my chambers with my wife", Persephone wraps her arms around Hades neck, drawing him close to her and sucking his neck , Demeter growls under her breath at this sight as the god continues with "but if we don't want our whole group to fall, some one must lead....I nominate Prometheus", the titan looks at the god wide eyed and mutters "me?", Hades says "yes, you, you defied Zeus and bestowed mankind with a great gift, you have seen personally what the pettiness of those who dwell on high can do, you seem the least likely to abuse your post", Prometheus looks at the rest of gods and says "I'm honored you have so much faith in me Hades, but I doubt they would listen to me", Hades walks over to Prometheus and whispers in his ear "c'mon, take it, I don't want to deal with these bunch of frat bitches and sorora whores, I'm happy where I'm at, don't force this shit my way", Prometheus responds "why not Poseidon in your stead..besides, they don't seem to be noticing us", Hades looks back and sees the gods arguing again before turning to Prometheus and saying "me and you both why Poseidon isn't here, you want to go free him, be my guest...use the Styx, now I'm going home", Hades and his bride vanishing in a puff of soot and ash as Prometheus leaves the gods to their bickering. Prometheus follows the Styx and leads it out to the ocean, he follows the trail of the water that leads from the river, the trail leads him to a very familiar place...the rock on which he himself had been chained to long ago. Prometheus steps off his boat and reaches Poseidon speared by his own trident, the main prong buried in his chest with the side prongs holding his hands in place, Prometheus asks "so, I don't need to ask who did this, by did the bastard do so?", Poseidon responds "Hermes doesn't protect his people very well, now does he, hehehe*cough* don't shoot the messenger...Someone in silver armor with about twelve or so wings, very lithe man, told me to warn Zeus that someone was coming to judge him and he should be prepared...my brother took it....not so well", Prometheus laughs a bit and says "so, need some help?", Poseidon responds "Zeus planted me here, you lack the strength needed to tear me free...besides, remove me from my prison and Zeus will put you back in yours", Prometheus starts to roll of the floor laughing his ass off, Poseidon asks "what's so damn funny?", Prometheus stands up, takes off his helm and says "Zeus won't be imprisoning anyone, he's dead", Poseidon says "hahahahaa, now that is funny, you know it's impossible to kill an Olympian", Prometheus responds "tell that to the man who did it, I saw Zeus seared from the world, his presence is gone...tell me Poseidon, do you feel him anymore?", Poseidon's eyes widen before saying "still, how can you free me?", Prometheus puts his hand on the rock and says "if you can't pick the lock...", he shatters the massive stone and pull Poseidon off the prongs "break down the door".Poseidon stands up and says "thanks, now, if Zeus is dead, his throne needs to be filled", he begins to leave, but Prometheus stops him and says "wait, I'd like to not be around when you all start fighting for the top spot...do you know how I could..you know...get the fuck out of dodge? as the humans would say". Poseidon guides Prometheus to a large, swirling red whirl pool, Poseidon then says "I found this here one day, Khaos touched down in the ocean and this happened...I tried fishing in it one day and pooled out a talking fox woman...man....thing.....you could hide out there", Prometheus turns and says "thanks, now go and fight for the throne, I hope to never see it again", the titan sails his vessel over the edge of the void.

Prometheus comes out the other side, his eyes blinded by the shining sun. His vision returns to him and he finds himself in grassy field surrounded by vast mountain ranges, the titan steps off his boat and begins to explore this new land, he hears a series of light foot steps to his north, he seeks out the source of this noise and finds a stunning young woman bathing in the spring, her porcelain skin wraps up the framing of her immense breasts, long and strong legs, pert round bumm, deep gorgeous eyes and long flowing black hair as dark as the deepest void of Khaos's mass. Prometheus gives her a dat ass look as the woman turns around and notices him, Prometheus locks eyes with and realizes whats about happen as she draws in a deep breath as she lets loose a howling scream and a massive bolt of light strikes Prometheus in the chest, sending him tumbling onto his ass. Prometheus stands up and feels a bare foot catch him in the bend of his knee as a palm strike collides with his throat before another blast of energy sends him flying backwards. Prometheus stands again and finds the woman standing before him, dressed in elegant robes, a ornate headdress and several strangely arranged pieces of metal, a glowing white orb floating above her as she says "how dare you gaze upon the form of lady Amaterasu", Prometheus responds "don't you think this is a bit...exces.." another bolt heads his way, but this time he's ready and ducks, another fires and he rolls forward under it, the bolts come in at rapid fire rate now as the titan bounds left and right to avoid them before he leaps backwards, putting a mountain between him and the goddess. Amaterasu chuckles lightly....until that damn mountain begins to move as Prometheus lifts it up and hurls it at her, she opens fire on it and grinds it away and begins to laugh cockily and says "really, throwing stones? is that all you ca...", Prometheus crashes his fist into her stomach, throwing her backwards as she tries to regain her breath, Prometheus laughs and says "oh come on, I didn't even hit you that hard", she looks up at him before regaining her composure and reaching down her side, she draws a blade almost as long as she is tall, the titan laughs and pounds his chestplate and says "really, you expect that to...", she strikes him on the chest with it and he feels a sting of heat lash his chest, he looks down and sees a light scar in the bronze and says "damn.... almost got through". Prometheus dodges back as the goddess lunges for him, he steps in, but she returns to form and holds the edge infront of her, cutting off an advance as her rays of light assault the titan, she swings at him, but he catches her arm and steps in, she swings her foot over head and brings down at him, but he blocks her attack and locks his arm around her leg and grasps her arm before slamming her to the ground. Amaterasu roars and blinds Prometheus with a flash of light, the titan stumbles a bit and feels the thrust of Murakumo-no-Tsurugi as it pierces his armor and erupts out his back, Amaterasu laughs and says "well, I do believe....hu??", Prometheus grabs her hand and says "that didn't hurt one bit", he then grabs the bend of her elbow and twists his body around, snatching her shoulder out of socket as he goes for an over the shoulder throw, but the second she connects with his back, her own sword pierces her, she lets loose a loud shriek as her blood flows and she is slammed flat on her back. Prometheus pulls the blade out of him and spits up some blood, Amaterasu fires another bolt into his stab wound, blowing a hole in him the size of her head.... the titan drops to his knees as his organs are seared. Amaterasu heaves heavily and snickers before Prometheus looks back at her in rage and runs her through with the sword, staking her in place, he sees the light behind him grow brighter than ever before and quickly leans her up, reaches his right arm around and sticks his thumb in her mouth before placing his left hand on the back of her head and wrenching her head, snapping her neck as well as pull her jaw out of socket. He staggers to his feet and pulls the blade out of her body before limping away.
analysis:
Amaterasu might be on par with her brother Susanoo, who happened to be pretty badass, but she has never actually been a fight, so while she might be packing quite a bit of heat, it's untested and lacking any real experience on how to fight. Prometheus is a titan, the pick up mountains and what not titan, he was involved the Titanomachy, as well as having several instances of immense intellect and cunning. The final break down simply shows that Amaterasu came into the fight not really knowing how to take on someone of divine status, Prometheus did.
