Hello! I love sci fi as a genre and its very unfortunate that a lot of popular video games have not had a cinematic treatment. Besides games and art the only way we enjoy them is novels and comics.As much as I love star wars and continue to hope that it will improve on its last two films, I thought let me work with someone to bring other big franchises that deserve their spotlight on the same page with star wars.
So an artist and I are working in early stages still developing but this is the rough sketch featuring:
Mass Effect/Harbinger and collectors vs star wars Darth Nihilus. The lord of Hunger against the ultimate devourer of life
Next is StarCraft/ Queen of Blades Kerrigan and the Zerg vs star wars Darth Revan. Both these honorable warriors compromised the lines between good and evil to see good prevail. Or at least from their view point.
Lastly is from Halo/Didact and his Prometheans vs star wars Darth Vader. The two rose to power and committed genocide to protect what was theirs. Didact to save his people condemned them to imprisonment in a hallow shell of a half organic have synthetic being and Vader who committed genocide against the Jedi to save his love Padme.
This is just a rough sketch and it will not look like this once its all said and done. But just wanted to give everyone a preview and if your interested these will be individual prints for sale that when combined make the bigger picture. Again title stating the obvious that these take place in different time periods since neither of these sith had much to do with each other for the Most part. But still looks cool.

Thanks I've had a great experience working with the artist implementing all my ideas into this vision without having to compromise too much from my original take on this idea. The updates look great. I can't wait to show the final piece.

Yes me too. I wish good things last forever. Starcraft is so amazing that when I mention it to a younger crowd its sad that they don't know anything of it. I wish they would at least look into an online event like they did with halo forward unto dawn.give us fans something to look forward to or to appreciate in the present vs living in the past:/

Yes your right, it's a shame Starcraft isn't as famous as other games like Halo. But there is an easy explanation to it : RTS games are harder than other games, and because of this, there are less played, even if the Starcraft campaign is on of the best in the video game history..

Yes this is true. I can't imagine this series in like a third person shooter type game. The scale of the campaigns and the tactics to overrun the opposition wouldn't transfer effectively in any other type of format. But than again if blizzard is behind it anything is possible.

Yes, its been so long since the series ended but I can't stop living in the past. There's not much story telling these days that match up to that series. And she is by far one of the greatest lead female characters or I should say lead character in general that even when she's bad you can't help but to be on her side.

Sameeeeeee!! What I dearly loved about the game was, how perfectly they just explained her evil doings and the relationship as well she kinda had with Jim Raynor!! The way she became the Queen again was just .....omfg yesssssss!!

wonderful use of value and contrast! when i first looked at it i immediately recognized, and knew, each character and the feel of struggle and absolute controlled chaos is spectacular! i can t wait to see it done!

Thank you, the artist who I will mention at the final product and I are really trying to make each scene stand out on its on with a dynamic to each that would have both sides of each franchise at war with the other. There have been some modifications to this sketch so I hope people like the final product in comparison.
