Description For some other of my many dozens of favorite characters, look here .

Edit:
1. Zaphod Beeblebrox from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
"Shee, you guys are so unhip it's a wonder your bums don't fall off."
I love how he has two heads, but one personality. A very self-absorbed yet oddly charismatic personality. I suppose that's how he got to be President of the Galaxy.

2. Arale Norimaki from Dr. Slump
An adorable robot girl who's super strong and super weird. What's not to love? Besides her strange obsession with poop... "Hoyoyoyoyo."

3. Yakko Warner of the Animaniacs
"Heeeeeello nurse~!"
Enough said.

4. Lum from Urusei Yatsura
I really don't know what she sees in Ataru, but Earth sure would be a lot more boring without her.

5. Krazy from Krazy Kat
Okay, this one is kind of obscure and it doesn't help I didn't draw him/her anything like the original comic's style. Yes, I said him/her. The thing is... no one is really sure what gender Krazy is. He/she is in love with a male mouse, and a male dog is in love with Krazy, and Krazy is usually (not always) referred to as a 'he'. The creator himself has said that Krazy doesn't really have a gender, but is more like a sprite. Did I mention this is a comic that started in 1913?

6. Roger Rabbit, namely from that movie where he gets framed and everyone is asking who did it.
Not related to why I like the character, but my apparently dad used to be friends with Roger's voice actor (Charles Fleischer). Sadly I never met him. Damn it.
"PADDY CAKE?!"

7. Sanji from One Piece
I think it's the eyebrow. It's hypnotic. That and the cool fighting moves.

8. Terra from Final Fantasy VI
She's a character whose deepest desire is just to be loved. However, rather than falling into the cheesy romantic pairing trap, she instead finds emotional fulfillment by taking care of a brood of orphans. Considering she was ripped away from her own parents as a baby and lacked foster love, I find this especially sweet. Plus she uses a sword. Sweet.

9. A poorly drawn The Spirit from... The Spirit
No, not from the movie. That..... Horrible... Horrible excuse of a movie. GOD DAMN IT THAT MOVIE I HATE THAT MOVIE SO FLIPPING MUCH I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT SO MUCH I JUST WANT TO-----
Ahem, excuse me. Yes, folks, if you ever get the chance to pick up Will Eisner's original work I highly recommend it. However, I've also read some of the Spirit comics from the 90s, and they're actually pretty good too. And the Spirit, (the character), is actually competent in them and isn't drooling over the city every five seconds like in.... the... movie...

10. Dr Manhattan from The Watchmen
I'd just like to say I read the comic way before I ever knew about the movie. While the movie was okay, I didn't care for it too much, I absolutely adore the comic. I think one of the reasons behind its success is that everyone can find someone to relate to. For me, it was Jon. After all, I'm so godlike. No, kidding. I just have a hard time connecting to people sometimes.

I'd also wager that somewhere out there, there is a whale in space who barely has time to contemplate his existence before falling from orbit.

4 is Lum
8 is Tina Branford

I feel lame at how I don't recognise most of these characters....

You got it. Though I prefer calling 8 Terra.

And it's okay. It's impossible to know every character in the world. That or I drew them crappily.

I've grown accustomed to calling her Tina ever since I looked up why her theme went by that name.

5 reminds me of that poor cat that Pepe le Pew stalked.
7 is Sanji from One Piece.
2 and 4 look really familiar but I can't name them.

You're thinking of Penelope Pussycat, but that's not who 5 is. You got 7 right though.
