Description
Pencil scribbles, coloured in Photoshop Lunatron-style. Guess which order the faces were done in, hah.It's really interesting to draw the Quintesson faces - the closer you look, the more interesting details you see, and how similar they are to certain TFs. The Judgement face is surprisingly easy to draw, whereas Wrath is much harder than it looks. The background is all Photoshop, although the lines took longer than any single face to do. The names of the faces are taken from the TF Ultimate Guide; I'm not happy with the font, but I've never been good at lettering and it's not the point of the pic. Overall, pretty pleased!

I like the idea of the Quintessons by using 5 different characters for 1 judge in the Transfoemrs Generation 1 movie. But i've never saw the Wisdom-mask of the Quintessons in the Generation 1 movie. BU what about Wrath. Wasn't he also seen in the Generation 1 movie? Or was it a glimpse?
Well, whatever the verdict was in the Generation 1 Movie, the accused one didn't survive the trial. No matter if he was guilty or innocent, he will be feed to the Sharkticons.

I always thought the wrath face looks like a devil. While the death face looks like an Egyptian pharaoh with fangs. The wisdom face looks like a Chinese crime lord.

ah the five faces of darkness, love those guys. i really like the reencarnation on energon(alpha Q) his voice was awsome! Wrath is my fav as he is the creepiest looking in my opinion, pluse he looks like a satanic cyclonus

Those are such memorable faces. Those Quintessons used to creep me out a little when I was younger. The "Wrath" face looks like a devil, while the "Death" face looks reminisent to that of Tutankhamun's head dress.

Hey Koi, somewhere in the dim recesses of my mind I knew you had a devart account, but when I saw it just now it was a case of 'hey, Koi has a devart account'...
anyway, very nicely done; I've been meaning to make a model of the quints for about 4 years now; I even got a pic of the five faces off Kidu (this was back before the Ultimate guide was released) I was planning to make the head and faces from epoxy putty, the plasma torch from the clear plunger of a diabetes syringe, and the tentacles from thin wire, but like a lot of things (my similarly designed war of the worlds fighting machine being another good example) I never got round to it.
still, since my CGI skills have increased in the last 4 years maybe I need to have a think about doing a model in that medium instead.
nice picture composition; I havn't been able to find anyone to translate my Generatrions book for me so that's the first time I've actually seen all the names to the faces (Wrath was about the only one that wasn't immediately apparrent in the series; the Quints seemed to use the death head when they were being obnoxious.)

A very unique piece of Transformer work. I don't see many, if any, Quint pics and this one will stick in my mind for quite a while. Love the titles you gave each face. It all really makes sense now.
