Hey everybody! Over the summer my sister (capricornstudio.deviantart.com… ) and I created our own swimmable mermaid tails. We are now putting together a tutorial so you can make your own! Here is the first section. If you do follow this tutorial, I would love to see pictures of your finished tail.

what kind of fabric did you use to make the tail ?

We used a kind of spandex that is similar to swim suit fabric, so it was probably Spandex Lyrcra Nylon. I don't know the exact name because it was in the discount section and was not labeled well, but any type of spandex that won't be damaged by water should work.
