oh, they should choose wisely before picking out a denny's, or they might suffer from late night puking.

"No one ever plans to go to Denny's-- they just end up there."
I heard that in someones stand up yeeears ago and my brother and I quote it so terribly often.. ohh the memories.
Reminds me of the vultures in Jungle Book too, remember them?? Buzzie and Flaps I think.. the nostalga, who would have thought
I suppose you find it in the most unexpected places- thanks

Denny's seems to be the only answer to a question like that, huh? My hubby calls it the "official sponsor of college students everywhere". I know we went there a LOT when were in school. I love the pondering expressions on their faces and the colors... the colors are always fabulous.

It makes me think of that movie, Smoke Signals. There's this part where one of the characters says, "Hey Victor. One time. Your dad. He took me to Denny's, and we got the Grand Slam..."
So every time I see a Denny's I think, "Hey Victor."

Not as funny as some of your other stuff. Good work, though.

Isn't there a hymn like that. "I want to walk with you jesus... right into Denny's ... and order a grand slam breakfast... while you save my soul..."

not to mention the fact that this is the crispest piece i've seen from you in a while. no blurry watercolor here! great coloring job.

Not sure what the context might be but it has a nice otherwordly inflection (that's a good thing, right)
I imagine in the era when everything will come crashing down, there most certainly will be a 24-hour quasi-diner with coffee and bacon and one of those 25Β’Β grappler machines that can't graΒbΒ plushies very well. The very metaphors depicting our domination over flora, fauna, and the universal desire to huggle (well, actually domination over humankid via cheap labor).
My keyboard is being wonky typing in this comment box. Now I'm scared.

the context for this isn't really all that important... it's most just the way he said it...
i remember once at a Denny's some friends of mine and i spent $5 trying to win this ass-ugly stuffed Magneto doll from the claw machine.
oh yeah. that's right.
and we got not one, but TWO of them.
a coffee shop at the end of all things... that's something i'd like to see
