Description
I'm not always a fan of TV Tropes, but when I read the Determinator entry ([link] ) Chell was the first person that came to mind. It's interesting that a character that has no lines in the game(s) has become one of my favorites, just in appreciation of her stubbornness. I especially liked it when I read comments from one of the designers saying, "Yes Chell can talk, but she figures why give the murderous robots the satisfaction?" ...Of course, there is also the possibility of that minor case of serious brain damage being a secondary cause...I also included Wheatley, because he's just too much fun not to include.

Between that and Warcraft, one of these days I'm just going to have to cut off the internet in order to get anything else done...
Or cut out sleep entirely. That could work...

Sleep is for people with too much time on their hands. >x3

GLaDOS even makes fun of her being mostly mute at times, IIRC.

Yes, and I think if I were Chell I'd take a bit of pride in being called a "dangerous, mute lunatic" by the homicidal AI.

Honestly, The Determinator works for any video game character for the most part.
It's the most common superpower for my characters...

Not sure how many of my characters you'd call heroes...
Well, maybe Dr. James Browning, Jr.

'Hero' can be a fairly open term.

I find "Protagonist" to be more accurate.
Anti-Hero for some at best.

Protagonist always has a nice ring to it.
