I know I said Sunday, but I have to get confirmation from both you AND BC before I can continue. I didn't hear from BC until yesterday. Didn't know he didn't check his email on the weekends.
So, it's just a little bit longer.. oh, and the first page sketch will be sent out to you guys tomorrow. Probably wanna relay that to BC. I would do it, but I'm in a hurry now.

I always wondered: You have story on how humans in the future got superpowers and at same time re-instituted aristocracy?
Had this idea of Vigil coming in time asking for Ritz's help to track someone with his sense of smell.
Ritz:"Why me?" Vigil:"Cause everyone else that could help are busy." "But you are a freaking time-traveler. Why not get them when they are NOT busy?" "I am doing just that. Also - your skills in tracking are all that is needed."

As it happens, I have thought of that! Actually, most humans don't have super powers in Vigil's future - aside from general evolutionary changes over such a long time. Vigil has been selectively bred over generations and generations to have psychic powers, and it's that carefully managed ancestry that leads to the rise of the aristocratic titles again. Whether these genetically engineered aristocrats are the true power remains to be seen!
Would she ever go to Ritualist after those AFL fights? She'd have to be desperate!

Good to know it has been lined out a bit. Always been curious - are we talking thousands of years or tens of thousands?
Was thinking of some sort of dictator turned beast/mutant who haunts gigantic severs of future mega-city (whole idea is to be Judge Dredd tribute). Dictator has managed to protect himself from psychic search and electronics or tracking animals are ineffective. So Vigil has to turn to Ritz, who is famed for being able to track down the scent of anything. Sounds somewhat solid, no?

Tens of thousands - I know you're a Warhammer fan so yeah, those sort of terms - Humanity has been through a crisis or two and isn't in any kind of state we'd easily recognise.
Like the idea! I don't have time to do any more projects at the moment (I've committed to a couple already that I really shouldn't have and must get started on them) but if you want this to go further you're more than welcome to. Happy to help with the plotting but I don't have time to draw another story at the moment.
