Here's my first Firealpaca tip! A deviant asked about it in so I decided the best explanation would be a visual one xDAnti-aliasing in most pen/brush tools creates a soft edge that Bucket tool is unable to fill correctly... in Firealpaca, you can fix this by selecting Expand>1px, up to 3px.
I hope it helps!

Best bet would probably be to do the fill etc. that you want at a different opacity on a new layer and mess with the opacity for that layer as a whole (then merge down if necessary)Β

Does anyone know or understand how the "Fill in Gaps" feature is used or works? Because I have the recent version.

hi! i may be a little late but the fill in gaps feature is there to prevent color from going everywhere because there was a gap in the lines. some people have trouble finding gaps that are a few pixels wide, so that feature fixes it! the larger the gap is the more "+" you'll need to fill it in. hope this helps!

Have you tried filling in the circle in a layer under the lineart layer?

I've heard something about "changing the fill from Layer to Canvas mode" where in the Layer mode, the bucket fills the layer, but with the Canvas, it just fills in the closed space like a circle, as far as I know.

When I do this on my other computer, it just covers up the lines, and is super annoying. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Thanks, But i'm still having an issue. I turned on the Anti-aliasing, and I have it set to expand 1 pixel, but now all my lines are shrinking. If anyone knows a way to stop this from happening, that'd be great.Β
