This was an older how-to tutorial so I decided to update it with a fresh look and fresh screen captures! So it seems like deviants get a little confused on how to submit artwork to AnthroCommunity or groups in general. Here is a tutorial to help!

My members can't submit to my group. Why?
Make sure you have submissions ENABLED. To check this do the following:
1. Group
2. Admin area
3. Manage members
4. MembersΒ on gallery, members: Make sure you have the drop down selected to either automatically approved or are subject to vote.. ( choose how many votes and how many entries someone can submit in a given time ( day / month / year ).
Do I need to be a group member to submit to a group?
Depends! Look to see if your group accepts open submissions or if you have to be a member to submit to their group. If you try to submit to their group and aren't able and you are not JOINED in that group, then that indicates they don't have open submissions.
How do I change the group submission limitations?
Go to group -> admin area -> manage members -> members -> on gallery, members: and manage your limitations there in the drop down menu for each folder

Scroll down on the right hand side of your deviation, under featured in groups, go to the group it's in and if you hover over it there is a pencil icon. Click that and select "remove deviation from this group".

I know it sounds silly. But I am a group administrator. Want to move an image uploaded by another person to another folder. (I see that in other groups they also do it and upload your art to another folder without the need of previous authorization from the owner only if the image has already been uploaded to the group before) It is nothing more than everything to approve the design and place it in the folder where it should be But I do not know how to upload the image to the other folder. Could you help me?

So you should be able to:
1. Top right hand corner click EDIT FOLDERS
2. Find the deviation and hover over it
3. Click the pencil icon and there should be a drop down allowing you to move it to the desired folder

Just one question, is there a way I can look at all of the pending artwork that is still to be accepted into the group? Thanks.

Are you an admin or moderator of the group? If so then yes, if not then you cannot see or view any pending artwork because you need to be able to log in to the back end (admin area)

I have a question, sorry if it sounds stupid i'm new to DA and don't really know how things work but i'm in a group but i can only contribute art and not submit it.. do you know why?

Ah i am a member of the group, it's an adopt group where you buy and sell adopts. I joined a couple of them and it was all the same i could only contribute

They might have it where there needs to be a certain amount of people to hit APPROVE. If that is the case then ya, it might sit in there until it's approved

how to approve an submission art request... ? can anybody share this information , i got a message on my new group of- art pending to get approval ... message , how do i accept it .. my group is small and i really fixed on maintaining the idea of why i created the group , i dont want to mess it up so want most of the controls by myself , i can add my photos and something i call my art to the category i created in my gallery . and i can add the art of different artist to favorite folder but on submitting the art to a specific category , i just get a message in my group of art pending for approval , how to approve it and place it in the specified folder is what i want to know ... if some body knows please share the knowledge with me ..Β

You'll need to go into the members permissions and change the settings there

i submitted 3 different drawings, they came up as excepted but are no where to be found in the group.

Look at the deviations and then at the right-hand side under GROUPS make sure it's listed there. If it isn't it might've been removed?

Hey there, my brother just created a group and Iβm his co-founder and I wanted to submit an artwork but it only allows me to submit to βFeaturedβ. I added a few more folders like, βTraditional Artβ and so on but I canβt seem to add my artwork in those folders. Iβm pretty new to this co-founder stuff so Iβm a little confused and I think I may need some help.

You are an admin right? Or at least high enough to change permissions for galleries?

Huh that's really strange. I'm not sure
I would check admin -> members -> Choose your role ( co-founder ) and make sure that you have permission to submit to the newly created galleries.

You need to make sure all the galleries are enabled to allow members to submit

Admin -> manage members -> Click on the group you want to edit and then on the right hand side you'll see galleries. From there you'll need to change the settings to allow members to submit to the group.

It depends whether or not they allow members / visitors to submit to multiple categories / folders. Might want to check out their submission rules/policies

On most of deviations I've seen, there has always been "Deviation title" by "Author name". How can I do it, that you'll see "Deviation title" in "Group name", by "Author name"?

The part where you can see the groups your artwork is featured in has an "add to group" button below it. It doesn't seem to work for me. Am I the only one?
When I click it, a window pops up but I can't search nor see the groups I'm in so I can pick which groups I want the artwork to be submitted to (multiple groups at once).
Having to open each group one by one and submitting each time can be a chore sometimes.

Yes. I have been submitting artwork to them but the only way I can do it is by visiting each group first.
