This was an older how-to tutorial so I decided to update it with a fresh look and fresh screen captures! So it seems like deviants get a little confused on how to submit artwork to AnthroCommunity or groups in general. Here is a tutorial to help!

My members can't submit to my group. Why?
Make sure you have submissions ENABLED. To check this do the following:
1. Group
2. Admin area
3. Manage members
4. MembersΒ on gallery, members: Make sure you have the drop down selected to either automatically approved or are subject to vote.. ( choose how many votes and how many entries someone can submit in a given time ( day / month / year ).
Do I need to be a group member to submit to a group?
Depends! Look to see if your group accepts open submissions or if you have to be a member to submit to their group. If you try to submit to their group and aren't able and you are not JOINED in that group, then that indicates they don't have open submissions.
How do I change the group submission limitations?
Go to group -> admin area -> manage members -> members -> on gallery, members: and manage your limitations there in the drop down menu for each folder

Ok, so then that is the only folder you're allowed to submit to. The option should be there for your to submitΒ : )

I don't know what group you're talking about nor am I in that group to even see. So you'll need to either ask if you can get permission to submit to that group, or, you just can't because of their submission restrictions. I would look in the group for their submission policies or what folder you can submit to. As I have no clue.

I Β am still confused...when I click add media opens a window on the right...that says : Conversation, Sta.sh. DevianArt Emoticons. If I click on any those link says " Core membership allows you use this feature...???? I don't have this Core membership! For Pete sake it shouldn't be that complicated for an Art site!

Go to your deviation -> click on the group you're in on the right hand side ( if nothing is there click ADD TO GROUP ) -> click on the group you want to add to and it should let you submit it.
Or if you go to the group and you're a member and they allow you to contribute hit CONTRIBUTE art. If you don't see that box, go to GALLERY -> right top hand side "submit art to this gallery".
I don't think you are in the right spot as Conversation, sta.sh, etc. should be coming up

You've marked that when he was shown "Contribute Art", we were not in the group. Yet I'm registered as a member (that is what is written, at least), and it appears to me that text.Β I would not know what to do, so I ask for your help ... Thanks for read this !

If you're a member it should still be the same thing. Do they allow submission from members to the folder you're trying to submit to?

Any question:
If my group has a limit of 10 pictures per day,so how can I change it,that I can submit more pictures in my group.
And if I am the founder,why are my own pictures included to the 10 drawing limit per day?
I want submit my own drawing there without limit.

You need to change it in your ADMIN settings. So if you click on admin -> manage members -> on the right hand side choose your desired folder and change the quantity.

Per Deviant(each can submit)up to global group limit

Global limit is how many deviations someone can submit to your group per day / week / month / year ( you can set this ). If nothing is selected ( no number ) then they can submit as many times as they want.Β
So for example: MEMBERS
-> On gallery , MEMBERS
-> Choose folder
-> Global Setting ( Again If no # is selected, then members can submit as many times to that folder. IF you choose a number, that's how many deviations they can submit to that folder PER however you have it set. ) Currently the limit can only go to 10
-> PER: choose whatever limit you want to put it on

Just curious:
In my correspondence Messages, it says a certain group accepts my submission. Yet when I open the Deviation and look through the groups it's in, that particular group is NOT listed there.
Does it just take a certain amount of time, or is it a glitch?

Sometimes it might take a bit to show, but generally it should be in there. Are you sure you're looking at all the groups?

Actually, nvm. I found out yesterday it was accepted but right after, removed due to a certain issue with submissions. Thanks for your help anyway, though.

Usually artists scan them and then touch them up in photoshop ( or some photo editing software ) and then upload

Hello, Can I ask a question, please?
I want to submit my work to group gallery folder,
but this folder is empty, so I'll submit mine for the first time.
but when I submit,
Submitting to "Folder list" in upper picture Step2
there is no folder name that I want to submit.
How can I submit for the first time?

Does the group allow you to submit to that gallery? that would be the only reason why it wouldn't show up for you to submit to. The group doesn't allow submissions to that folder.

How do you change the weekly limit of submissions in a group as a founder? It's at one right now but I want to set it back to three. I am hopeless. :'DΒ

There are some artworks that I want to submit to my group, but how can I automatically let the system accept it instead of having to wait approval from the original artists?
Some of the accounts are dead as the artworks were made back in 2013.
