This was an older how-to tutorial so I decided to update it with a fresh look and fresh screen captures! So it seems like deviants get a little confused on how to submit artwork to AnthroCommunity or groups in general. Here is a tutorial to help!

My members can't submit to my group. Why?
Make sure you have submissions ENABLED. To check this do the following:
1. Group
2. Admin area
3. Manage members
4. MembersΒ on gallery, members: Make sure you have the drop down selected to either automatically approved or are subject to vote.. ( choose how many votes and how many entries someone can submit in a given time ( day / month / year ).
Do I need to be a group member to submit to a group?
Depends! Look to see if your group accepts open submissions or if you have to be a member to submit to their group. If you try to submit to their group and aren't able and you are not JOINED in that group, then that indicates they don't have open submissions.
How do I change the group submission limitations?
Go to group -> admin area -> manage members -> members -> on gallery, members: and manage your limitations there in the drop down menu for each folder

How do I do this on my phone? It only shows me half which makes it hard for me to click submit

How to join a group on your phone? Are you using the app or the mobile version while on a web browser?

I'm not sure if there is a join group using the deviantart app itself. So you might need to go to your browser, go to deviantart, then go to your group and hit "join". It should show up. Otherwise I suggest using a web browser on a computer

Anytime when i am about to give my other art. it told me that only one deviant for every 30 days or more.

Yes, so that means the group you are trying to submit to only allows members to submit 1 deviation ( or however many ) per every 30 days

Hello, I found this really amazing artwork by someone and wanted to send an invite of this art to a group so that they can put it into their gallery. But I'm worried about the way I did it...
I went down into the "Featured in Group" tab and submitted it into the group. And now the the image shows up in my correspondence even though it shows that artist's name who did it. I withdrew it just in case. But did I do something wrong?Β

It looks like you might've just submitted their artwork in to the featured gallery for that group. The original artist should still show up

is it possible for me to submit art on a phone / tablet ? my computers to slow and crappy for me to do it on there

When submitting Art through the app or website you should be able to see groups and from there submit to the desired group !

Um, I have a question.
I'm a member of a group called "Friends-in-Needs" and I even have my own folder for my art work that was recently given to me, but I have a problem. whenever i try to submit any of my art work to the group I get a notice telling me I don't have permission to submit to the group, yet i can suggest favorites to the group.
how do i get around that?

Then they don't allow submissions by members to the group or that particular folder ( or non-members ). You can try sending it to favorites and see

Hello KovoWolf, I'm the Founder of Friends-in-Needs and likeΒ hintaboco Β said she can't submit her arts but only Faved them, how can I make the Submit options available for everyone in my Groups ?

You need to go to admin -> members -> click on members -> go to the gallery you want to make available and make sure that you have that option enabled in the settings to allow members to submit.

Admin -> Members -> Galleries -> Show all folders and then from there you can choose all the folders/galleries you want people to submit to

It doesn't say submit art ether. Instead, it says contribute. I have been having a lot of trouble on this group.

ok so im having a problem when ever i click the submit art it pulls up the screen for if i want to make a deviation what's going on?!?!?!?
also does being founder have anything to do with it?
and last but not least i dragged some art into the thing that shows up when you drag how do i get art out of that like drag from there to the screen

What do you mean "when ever i click the submit art it pulls up the screen for if i want to make a deviation what's going on". Are you trying to submit something to the group itself? Does the group allow submissions?
It depends on how the group is setup, but generally you do not have to be founder to do anything if you are a member of the group and want to participate
I'm also slightly confused about your last question. Drag it out of what and for what reason?

nvm i figured it out i was clicking the wrong button and yes i looked back and i confused myself so i'm not entirely sure what i was going with i do know that my sister was in my room bugging half to death so that might have caused me to type something weird as for the group it is a very small group of one person and that person is me the founder
