How do you get the manes to look like delicious candy?

I guess it's because of the opaque, flat color with the softened borders between the colors, in addition to the very light, subtle shading as well as the crisp highlights in combination with the lack of detailed textures makes it look like soft candy. ... hmmmm soft candy... *drool*

One of the downsides of having a notebook with a 1920x1200 resolution is it seems everyone almost always makes 1920x1080 images and so as much as I love this image I have no computer to use it on. My monitor is 1920x1200 also >.< Is it so hard to upload a 2560x1440 resolution image?

I semi-seriously think you sat down last weekend, for 40 hours and just drew 20 to 30 portraits. Then decide yep that should do for October.

It takes between one to three hours to paint such a portrait, and all the sketches are already there (so i just need to pick one that seems interesting and start painting). SO it is possible to make one or two in a day (after coming home from work at about 16:30 pm)
