Celestia's guards are all the same two stallions.
We've only seen two identical Lunar guards.
The guards are not natural ponies. They are conjured beings who know not fear, pain nor fatigue. Who exist to protect the princesses and ensure all Ponies know they are safe.

Another very well done group of sketches! I was going to say which one was my favorite in the next sentence, but I can't decide; they're all so well done and have great dynamic poses. I'm still trying to get posing and staging just right in my drawings.

He was the one who told Celestia the Crystal Empire had returned.
(They do need more Earth Ponies)
