Description
Here are links to 3d PDF Files that contain my pony models.This way you can view, zoom and rotate them without any additional 3d programs.
All you need is the Adobe Reader version 8.1.2 or newer.
Controls
. rotate - hold the left mouse button and drag
. zoom - hold the right mouse button and drag up and down
. pan - hold CTRL and the left mouse button and drag

More in particularly Bon Bon and Lyra, but some of these 3D model ponies look 'extremely' familiar to my own 3D model ponies which I made with Blender back in late 2010...

Is there a PDF Toolkit that allows for viewing, rotating and zooming PDF files without using Adobe Reader or other assemblies? I have ever googled such a product, but I haven't used the trial version to evaluate the toolkit yet. Does anyone want to try it?

There have been problems with the web browser pdf plugin for a while.
Please try to download the pdf by right clicking on the link and saving the file to your computer. Then try to open it from there.

I'm using a macbook, and the models aren't moving when I download them I could use some help with that.

Do you have a recent version of the adobe reader installed?
There was also some security notification that caused trouble with the newest update - it may work if you download the file and open it in the reader directly instead of the browser plug-in.

You may need to use blender if its a ".blender" file.

They are available for gmod and sfm. If you want to use a 3d program you would have to rig them first.

Rigging for animation. My limited knowledge:
The models are motionless, in order to animate them you have to alter the models and add control handles.
If you intend to use SFM, there are already rigged models of the more popular ponies for SFM (mane 6, derpy, lyra, vinyl and octavia and maybe more by now).

the pdf dont seem to working for me can't rotate them and stuff, but been wanting to do this sort of thing for a while how did you do it?

Do you have the latest version of the Adobe Reader installed ? - maybe you have an older version that does not support 3d.
I put the PDF file together in Adobe Acrobat. It is possible to import, place and display u3d files in PDF documents.
I put the model and textures together in 3ds max, exported them as 3ds files, and used Photoshop (yes, Photoshop CS 5.5) to convert the 3ds files into u3d files.
There is probably a more direct way but I could not export u3d files from any of my other programs - so that was what worked for me.
