I remember that I already wrote a story based on the original. But with the colors... that makes a huge difference. But keep the cuteness the same.

Looks like a great time is being had by all, except the new princess who hasn't mastered the secret Pony Princess Hula Hoop Technique yet. Spike shouldn't be so mean, but he's terribly cute while snickering at her. Nice tail grab for his drink too. I love how impressed Sweetie Belle looks while watching the Goddess of Love shake 'em like nobody's business. Celestia looks great and is having the most fun with that pass to Scootaloo, who looks so wonderful when she laughs like that. Contrast it to the super cool coach Applebloom, trying to feign disinterest. That's cute in itself. Also, would I be right to think that a certain princess is Mooning us deliberately as she hulas?

Anyone making art on the computer should use a tablet. And art of this caliber is nearly impossible with a mouse. I say "nearly" because who knows, there might be a freak out there who could do it. Lol
