I recognized Rarity at first but it took me a second or two to realize the other pony was Pinkie.

This is so extreme, I love it! It's somewhat dark, but way too cute also.Β Lake-Michigan is right: There must be a story here. But I'm not really asking for one. The picture makes it easy to think about a few.
(Only one thing bothers me a bit: Their arms seem very long.)

No, they look genuinely worried about something bad. It's cute how they're backing up into each other with arms locked more for emotional than physical support. Nervous as they are, it really highlights the work you put into their eyes. Also, I love the wet mane look you created.

Well, I think the one on the right is Pinkie, because the eyes are the same, and they are totaly not like Fluttershy's eyes.....

Look at the mane though - even when Pinkie's mane is perfectly straight, it only hangs a few inches below her shoulders. The one on the right has a mane that goes down to her waste, and it's still somewhat wavy.

The left one is definitely Rarity... the Right one could be Pinkie Pie, judging by her eyes. I don't think that it's Fluttershy, since I don't see the wings or the unique eyes on here.
