Description
This is my pyro backpack, and yes, it is primarily made of ductape, but is actually quite stable.Ingredients:
Main tank - cardboard tube from a lava lamp package w/ two foam balls crammed in each end, covered in yellow and standard color ductape. The gauge is a tire gauge and the valve on the bottom is half of an ice-insert from a water bottle. The straps on the tank are from a backpack.
Side tank - CO2 tank painted and a custom sticker for the Hydrogen symbol. The valve is a spicket valve covered in orange ductape and held on with velcro. Both tanks are held together with a combination of a wood block, rivets, and plyo-grip.
The harness is made out of a gutted rucksack's metal frame and shoulder straps covered in red and black ductape and 1" gorilla tape. The waist strap is from a LATCH system for cars, also held with 1" gorilla tape. The pouch is an old shuriken pouch I found.
Both the harness and the tanks are held together w/ that 1" gorilla tape; it's actually quite sturdy.
The Pyro and TF2 is copyright to Valve.
