"Dear Princess Celestia,today I learned an important lesson about friendship; I learned that I shouldn't try to bite on something I can't chew on... especially if it happens to be bigger than me! I guess that also means that I shouldn't try to take on tasks that are WAY out of my league and get friends to help out whenever possible.
In the end, I should never pic a fight with something that can easily whoop my tail... even if it does happen to be delicious.

Just a quick pic I just made-up of Spike of MLP:FiM trying to take a bite out of a Gem Giant, or a Jewel Colossus (a large elemental being made-up of gems and jewels (or one singular, living jewel)).

Did you base the design for the Gem Giant off anything? It looks familiar and it's going to drive me insane if I can't figure out what it reminds me of.

I got a bit of Eva-01, An Ork from Warhammer 40K, and Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. The hands appear to be more reminiscent of the original G1 Transformers, though the closer one has more of a blocky appearance that brings to mind the artwork of more recent Transformers comics, particularly those by IDW.

No, I really couldn't say that, as I have no experience whatsoever with WoW and have no real desire to gain said experience. However, the jaw resembles the metallic armor that Ork Warbosses wear in 40K, so I went with that.
